New scent that persists in the afternoon tired
a glow that seems far away to reach the moon

but the moon above a sky of stars bizarre
Cat eyes deep rock the mind

A shiver through the prairies and the eye wanders
the harmonies of a landscape barely touched

A crevasse opens deep dark
suggesting as a breath of wind
tapered hands that proposes the moon
