The marvelous Cape Verde archipelago. Sal Island, a perfect resort for relaxing holidays
We land in Ps in the evening and we moved to the village with a rickety minibus .. The next morning, finally the first approach to the beach ... the sand is fine and very clear, the water is very blue and the ocean always moving, because of the wind and currents. In the period when we visited us the weather was still fresh, often the wind forced us to take shelter inside the village, sheltered from the wind, the sun beats a lot! Are typical of the salt marshes of the island of Sal Pedra de Lume, inside an old crater of a volcano. The pools are 30 times more salty water of the sea that can float and never sink! Palmeira is a small town with the port where you can "barter" objects typical of the place. Going around the island is a must-stop in Burracona, in the far north of the island, a cliff that creates a kind of large pools are wet from the ocean ... Espargos is the capital of the island, the establishment of the typical traditional marketplace. It 'very small but allows an immersion in local life! Excellent entertainment / nightlife offers 4 jumps in a club, there are a couple near Santa Maria (extreme south of the island): The Pirate, small and very popular dallas locals, and the Birimbao on the beach, is popular tourists residing in villages.
Trip to do.
