A trip to Egypt, almost done by myself! Relax in Hurghada, tour of Luxor and final in Cairo

From a dear friend we were given an amazing opportunity to enjoy a week in a resort of Hurghada could not exploit her and would otherwise be lost. This week we have added 3 days in Cairo.
We traveled with a stopover in Athens with Olympic and arrived in Cairo at about 20, we immediately headed for the taxi to the bus that would travel all night to get us the next morning in Hurghada .... but here the trouble started! In fact we discovered with great difficulty that service was seasonal and would be initiated only by the next day, contrary to what they told me at the Tourist Office Egyptian, in Bissolati.
Very well: be in a city of 20 million inhabitants, at 21, 2 men and 2 women, not knowing where to sleep, not really the ideal thing! But then arose the famous Arab hospitality, because the taxi driver who had brought us this far, decided to take care of us .. proposing to us accompanied by a cousin with his taxi ... directly to Hurghada, I do not remember if it is 400 or 600 km! The price that we shot, we thought it and we agreed to talk. Then he threw himself again in the crowded streets of the city to reach a suburban neighborhood, where within an instant all his relatives and friends have decided to challenge "our" situation discussed at a high volume of what we agreed to do because his cousin had taxis in poor condition and did not want to face a journey so long! The tension rose, at least among us, because while they had made the 22.30. Eventually we asked forcefully take us into an office to book hotels that were open 24 hours on 24 and fortunately there, and we found a 3-star hotel, full of cockroaches and a bathroom to the third world ... but at least we found it!
The next morning we took the famous bus, we lost a day at sea, but was perhaps even more interesting experience. In fact the bus, with the TV blaring, the windows stained with various body fluids, however, had 2 complete with stewardess uniform - even spotted that - very kind and nice that at least one offive free tea .. in a glass is not very clean. But the hospitality is sacred and should not be refused. The coach has almost always bordered the Red Sea and it was interesting to see the sea, the occasional oil platforms, huge ships and on land, desert, a few towns and several police checkpoints. At the Hurghada resort is beautiful, but we find that the reef can be reached only with boats organized: what a disappointment.... Do not look a gift horse in the mouth ....! One day we took a trip to the desert of stones, with a camel ride-rite and another went to Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, both rewarding and another high expectations we have reached the barrier.
Here the emotions were strong, and because when they swim among tropical fish, you did not have time to record a type that saw thousands of others and partly because, in return we saw a group of dolphins followed us ..... the thrill of seeing wild animals came unexpected and explosive! And dolphins are special animals ... I found myself laughing and crying simultaneously!
It 'time to go to Cairo, but this time we booked the hotel through Francorosso directly from Hurghada, we found a 4-star Isle of Zamelek. We received the same bus service that unfortunately still traveling only by day. In Cairo we visited the pyramids that have disappointed a lot, the Arab side with mosques and souks, which always have their charm and finally ... the Cairo Museum where the sarcophagus Tuthamkamon remains until today, after more than 15 years and many trips to view exhibitions and many more behind the true wonder of the world to me.
