Week on the Red Sea with family: wife and 3 children.
Destination Dahab, 100 km north of Sharm in the Gulf of Aqaba. The booking is done online with Last Minute: objective is not to spend too much!
Arrived at the airport of Sharm awaits us in a nabetta that pwio of hours brings us to the destination.
The village (Dahab Oasis Hotel) is very beautiful and popular displeasure with the teenage children: the customers are mainly Egyptian families, the advantages in having the beach exclusively for us while the disadvantages are represented by a local cuisine impossible (garlic, onions, peppers anywhere!). But the sea will pay for all this: we only snorkel but it is a show.
Segnalo trips to Blue Hole and at a location south of Dahab diving paradise. The barrier in front of the village is beautiful and a hundred meters from the village there is a beach with easy entry into the sea and sand.
In the evening you can with free shuttle bus provided by the 10 minutes achieved in the small town of Dahab, the very lively promenade with bars, restaurants and shops.
There are also walking at night on Mount Sinai done with my son Nicholas: the others have preferred to rest. Departing from Dahab to 24: Arrival at the Monastery of Saint Catherine at 2.00 and start walking to the summit which takes around 2 hours at night with flashlights, the river of people that goes along with all its light seen by ' Top is of great effect.
Arrived at the top there is something refreshing with hot (is rather cold at that time and about 2400 m altitude) and Apetta sunrise. After the obligatory photos of the rising sun began to drop before it gets too hot and then expects the opening of the Monastery of St. Catherine for the visit of the obligation and then restart for the return journey in the desert mountain of the area (very nice) and a refreshing nap after a sleepless night. All'arrivo suffered a dip in the middle of the colorful fish.
Return to Saturday after 7 days of incredible sea and a diet that incredible but also in negative! We will have time and so once a return home.
