Dozens of reefs, many yet undiscovered, emerging in this part of the sea and dive in these waters will be how to make a trip back in time.
Luxorstrong>: Pharaohs of ancient Thebes, capital of Egypt during its peak, located on the banks of the river just south over the coastal town. The road linking Marsa Alamstrong> to Luxorstrong> is in excellent condition and runs in a fascinating landscape: after crossing a first stretch of flat desert, it insinuates itself into narrow gorge between the mountains and then suddenly emerge on the fertile and green valley of the Nile. The vast laborers available the immense wealth created by the conquests in foreign lands allowed the Thebans to raise the most impressive and elaborate places of worship in honor of the local god Amon, who assimilated to the sun god Ra and worshiped as Amon-Ra. Built on the east bank of the Nile, these shrines celebrating the sunrise every morning. Beyond the western shore, is the land of the dead estendva instead, where the sun sank every evening. The Pharaohs, adored by his subjects as de living, they built their tombs.
Memnon: leaving the Luxorstrong> passing the river soon reach the extraordinary pairing of the Colossus of Memnon, two huge twin statues depicting the pharaoh Amenhotep III on the throne, isolated, along the right side of the road that leads into the valley of the queens: the giants of the entry to the Theban necropolis.
Karnak: Karnak for the ancient Egyptians was "the most perfect of places", and despite being in ruins, is spectacular. Perhaps the largest monument ever built, its development stages met for over 1500 years. Expanded by generations of pharaohs that followed, it reveals a collection of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons and obelisks, resembling a vast historical stone open. The monument is dedicated to Aman-Ra the Sun God
Can you believe this holiday apart from the sea, we also cultured .....
And what about for the first time in Egypt was a nice vacation, truly pristine beach, beautiful beaches, great time, say that they are in Egypt where the sun rises at least 360 days a year, certainly a holiday repeat .
