Given the beautiful summer experience made in Dahab, why not go back in a longer cool?
This time the goal is not the sea but St.Catherine and the Colored Canyon, two excursions in summer, given the high temperatures, are tiring.
Can not do both in one day for the duration of tresferimenti, both for the physical energy demand.
I dont want up early and climbing Sinai to reach the monastery of St.Catherine and opto car and local guide accompany me to the entrance of the site.
The place is always full of tourists and definitely lost in religiosity but the landscape surrounding it is breathtaking.
Definitely helps to cut the breath, the ascent up to the point where you can take the classic picture and fortunately this time it's warm.
Challenging and very rewarding hike to the Colored Canyon: about six kilometers between descents and ascents, with some boulders to be overcome, two narrow and short wall are not equipped to climb.
The choice to be a small group (4 people plus guide) allowed time to enjoy complete freedom and tranquility sounds, lights, shadows and colors.
