It 'been a trip organized by a tour operator that you have met. Not describe the stages of the journey because they are the usual that you can find written by other travelers much more accurate than me.
I just want to stress that Egypt now seems almost impossible that it is the descendant of the lineage that gave rise to the pyramids and the extraordinary company which was the Ancient Egypt. Several years have passed from the trip, but still remember that before all those wonders and their majesty, I remained amazed.
The ancient Egyptians were a people educated, proud, good taste and with a keen sense of art and beauty. They had studied the methods of irrigation of bare areas adjacent to the Nile, which would fade a hydraulic engineer of our time.
How do the Egyptians of today to be the descendants of this extraordinary people? It was what I kept saying all the time. It 'clear that I can not generalize and that even in large cities Egyptian people have seen modern, active and very prepared. Remains a very big number of people living in both cities and in rural reality, I do not know if by tradition or customs, so untidy. That's why I noticed the gap between the world today and what should have been the time of the pharaohs.
