A fantastic trip to the luxuriant nature of Kenya
Jambo! Jambo!
I recently returned from Kenya - Watamu
A big thank you to OmarNero I have been a guide for the duration of the holiday, guiding the discovery of his wonderful land. By e-mail I organized all of Italy excursions with very competitive prices.
In Watamu, I was enchanted by the stunning bay, white sand ... with the high low tide really spectacular.
The two-day safari to Tsavo East National Park, OmarNerofacendomi always accompanied by a guide, speaking of the Parks, the savannah and the animals that inhabit it.
The Savannah is one of the most fascinating natural destinations of Kenya, sand as red as fire, wilderness with the alternation of green space and as many dry, silences, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, buffalo, Dikdik, ostriches, birds , monkeys, cheetahs, a show open!
Unfortunately I could not see the "desired" lion. Oh well, I'll take it as an excuse for the next trip to Kenya!
On the way back we stopped at a Masai village where I was able to visit their homes and learn Maniatte gave to light a fire with two sticks and see their little dance with jumps really high, while the road leading to the resort was surrounded by beautiful villages full of children running around the edge of the road to passage of the jeep, I will never forget their screams, their smiles, their eyes and shake their hands in farewell. These images will remain etched forever in my eyes and in my heart!
With OmarNero I visited the village of Watamu, seeing the wonders of the sea at low tide, accompanied me in the marine park for a ride in a glass bottom boat, complete with a BBQ on the atoll in the middle of the ocean with lobsters King and fish and lots of fresh fruit.
At the end of the holiday I realized that although the population of Kenya is poor, poverty has made them less cordial, generous and smiling and this goes to show that it does not matter what you have but what you are!
