.... surprise, surprise, disbelief ... are just some of the emotions that my mind has proven through the wonderful land of Kenya. The journey from Mombasa to Nairobi you to enter, as if by magic, in a book by Hemingway, where the immensity and the beauty of the landscape leave you breathless, which weighs not stifling hot because there is no room in the mind to unpleasant sensations where, in a landscape designed with two colors, red earth and the green of the shrubs, it seems to be no room for other colors, but every so often is contrasted by small villages, only by the colorful clothing of the people born on the way to take advantage of passage of people on the go. Suddenly you get the time of dusk. The setting sun turns everything into a show that is impossible to describe the shades of red, which colors the landscape, are endless, from yellow to purple through various gradations delll'arancione. It seems to touch the sun with their hands, the same sun that warms during the day over-the air at this radiates rays that give a nice warmth, making this moment even more striking.

It is now five years that I spend my holidays (always too few) in different states of the Great Continent, I was in South Africa, Zanzibar, Niger etc.. but this is the first time I see the Africa that I have ever dreamed as a child watching an adult reading Quark Hamingwey and others.
I spent 15 days in Malindi, on the ocean coast, 100 kilometers north of Mombasa, in a house of the Italian girl, Mariam, who thanks to his strength of will and his courage, three years ago she moved there, giving us all the possibility of a period in the trscorrere renting. So, after 3 days of total relaxation, we began to organize tours and safaris in incredibly beautiful places. The first thing is the safari. Four days spent in Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli in search of animals in the savannah and beyond. The night spent in a tent (the tents is very high, I tend to 5 stars) made life even more the feeling of being in a hostile environment but at the same time fascinating.

Back in Malindi, after the safari, has grown even more in me the desire away from the classic tourist routes and increasing the life that takes place in the bush. So I rented a motorcycle and with Mariam Said, and we shot for two days in and around Malindi in search of landscapes and situations. An important milestone was the orphanage in Malindi, where with the help of Italian and Kenyan, 41 years orphaned children found shelter and education.

I spent some good times during my 10 days in Kenya, but I feel useless to list them all, I prefer to let each of you the freedom to dream your Kenya and who knows that one day your dream will not become reality as it happened to me.

Sickness of Africa but there really is not a disease that affects everyone, only people sensitive and attentive to particular situations can be infected. This is my Africa, Africa by spectacular scenery, the welcoming people from Africa, the Africa of a thousand colors, Africa where 3 out of ten women in childbirth muoino, Africa where the life of a child is Poised on the thread of a blade, AFRICA TO HELP !!!!!
