Tsavo East Safari:
Finally comes the day of departure for the safari to Tsavo East, Kenya's largest national park, as you enter the park after a few hundred meters away are the first elephants, are very close to the road and are huge, they are completely red because Tsavo is the land of the red and then gazelles, zebras, warthogs, buffaloes the ns. Tour guide in contact with other coaches in the Park keeps us informed about sightings especially of the lion, but time flies and it's already time for dinner, then we go to a camp within the park, really friendly, the ns. tent has a double bed, a toilet, a shower the sink with warm water.
The next morning wake up at dawn, quick breakfast and we go out now for a whole day in the bush. We see lots of animals, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras, etc.. Etc., but even the shadow of lions. Our guide through radio contact informed us that a lion was sighted, and we run when we see that the lion is lying asleep under a tree, oblivious to the ns. presence and a little further a group of lionesses with their cubs playing in the grass savannah camouflage.
In the afternoon, we live the unforgettable scene, we come across a group of elephants with babies, who are crossing the street. The two great look-out do not seem so quiet, maybe because we got too close, and began to wave his big ears you by coming meeting, the tension mounts, Tour beckons the driver to reverse, ready to go away but then the ' elephant stops, quiet retreats, and soon the whole herd has passed away and we will let go. It was a really exciting scene.
We took plenty of pictures of the landscape is truly breathtaking slopes of red earth and bush as far as the eye to the animals (we did not expect to see so many)
Final Thoughts: Kenya is a fascinating, well worth visiting. Not only for nature but also for the unforgettable hospitality of its people, is certainly one of those trips that appreciates not only on time, especially after the fact is 'taste' as a whole. Now we know what it means "nostalgia for Africa". Even the smile of Kenyans always happy, because it always is ... AKUNA MATATA! A big welcome also to Banco Lali who accompanied us during the holiday letting us know your wonderful country, making us feel pampered and always welcome in all, very professional and always on time, I recommend! even for the price!
