A holiday that has remained in my heart! It's like being with the family ..... Excellent treatment at the hotel, excellent cuisine (Italian), with a rich buffet of vegetables cooked in every way, corner grill, dining area with pizza and focaccia, dessert buffet. Favorites include the bruschetta to start lunch.
I mean the part of village-owned Jacaranda Village and not Eden. The Jacaranda is much better, fully renovated in common parts in December 2008. The director Bruno, a Roman doc is at guests' disposal for any need. Italian Village recommend it to those seeking a relaxing holiday. The animation is indeed very soft, with local folk dances two or three times a week games and entertainment organized by the Kenyan boys animation for the remaining evenings. You have to buy some souvenirs, I recommend you buy the "marketplace" at the hotel set up by the artists before each show: find high quality items at prices lower than even those that you will find stalls all over the country or during the safari.
The beach is fine white sand, dotted here and there, unfortunately, some small stone or coral, and then focus on feet! There is also a beach volleyball on the beach. To enter the sea I suggest you bring rubber boots. Making a few meters is achieved, however, a beach area where you can enter the water without shoes. The beach is equipped with loungers and umbrellas. The beach towels are provided by the hotel.
As for the rooms highly recommend the villas sea (we were in the block LAMU), equipped with every comfort. Safe for the villas is free, otherwise you pay 20 euros a week (and is not a deposit). The bathroom has a bidet, shower and hairdryer masonry "regulation" at 1500 watts. The adapters are available from reception.
To call, to receprion recommend buying a sim card to phone a local operator (cost 2 euros) to recharge. It 'very cheap!

The stretch of sea front hotel is the most beautiful of the coast: the colors are those of the Caribbean. The holiday was perfect from every point of view: hotels, beaches, climate, food, entertainment, excursions.
