We both wanted to go to Kenya when the plane landed in Mombasa, there seemed true! We waited at the exit of the operator of Francorosso (tour operator with whom we have decided to undertake this great adventure), who accompanied us to the sea club Tropical Village in Malindi, where we arrive after two hours. A wonderful place, where magic reigns almost cordiality, sympathy, joy and lots of cleaning. Our stay at the Tropical is beautiful: the rooms are beautiful, but mostly clean and equipped with every comfort (bathrooms have been renovated recently, are "really clean), all the furnishings reflect the local style, the beautiful dining room as well as rest rooms, the garden full of flowers and perfumes through its vigilant and careful gardeners, pool and beach area equipped and maintained. The staff (almost all local but excellent connoisseurs of Italian) always at your disposal, and kind with a big smile on his lips because Hakuna Matata (no problem). The restaurant is great, we are back with several kilos to be disposed and the cuisine is varied, tasty, abundant and most people have put it. The Tropical has an excellent team of animation (the animation is the head of Italy: Roxy, excellent in all activities), which offers a daytime and evening entertainment. But this is just closer to the beach and is another welcome meeting: the beach boys, I do not like to define them so are the boys of the place you seek for a bit of work you propose to buy local artifacts or on behalf of always local agencies will propose to do with their trips to learn about the reality that surrounds you. We decided to entrust to them (the excursions at the hotel costs have certainly increased) and more specifically to a young man who is called "Sheriff" or could we say that something unreasonable (passatemi the term) has called Italian because perhaps unable to pronounce SHARRIF Kassim. With him and Ali, we were two days at Tsavo East (National Park), in a magnificent atoll (called Sardinia 2) that emerge at low tide, on the island of Watamu, the ruins of gede and Malindi. On safari at Tsavo was exciting, see elephants, crocodiles, the hippos, gazelles, antelopes, giraffes, the lionesses, etc, in their habitat and a few meters from you makes you feel alive and so "small" by Faced with a world in which their owners are uncontested: the animals. We spent the night at Ndololo camp, immersed in the bush, we slept in tents, very Spartan but certainly not in search of luxury, lulled by the bar, elephants and the roars of lions. But what he certainly did break in my heart were the children: those in Malindi, those villages near and far from Malindi, those who shout "ciaooooo, candy, going to school and that they rejoice in receiving a pen, which you speak, you and caress you would like to donate a happy childhood, a place where we live, but unfortunately most of the time you need to satisfy only a simple smile, who return with happy and sad eyes. My heart was there with them!
