Jambo everyone, my name is Roberto and I spent two weeks in July in Watamu with my sweetheart Olivia. We are veterans of Kenya, this was our sixth trip, but we had never met a guy like Abdul, who incidentally is the young director of an agency safari Watamu, Kenya Safari called Top. One afternoon we were at the bar here in Watamu with two friends met at the hotel and we were just talking about the fact that we still had to book safaris and excursions, and they called Abdul, who had known him on facebook in the previous months. Abdul arrived shortly after the appointment with his two dear friends: Michael and Sofia and with a little monkey named Salim, on his shoulder. Needless to say we've been linked with Abdul that both Sofia and Michael, they are also veterans of Kenya. Top Kenya Safari we made the trip to Malindi with Sophia and Michael and also to other two friends that we had presented Abdul, and then we did the excursion to the island of Robinson and we were there, along with a good group, we were more than 10 people. What about Malindi always has its charm and the trip to Robinson was very pleasant, well organized and it shows that Abdul is accustomed to handling large groups of people, however, because everything went very well and we enjoyed it very much. We started from Watamu with a normal car and a minivan. The minivan was driving Abdul, while we got into the car with Michael who was driving the other car ... we had a lot ... Michael was quickly dubbed by us "risk" (very well and has led the Kenyan driver's license, and is used to drive in Kenya, in fact, knew very well up the road from Watamu to Robinson, but he instraurato a relationship of confidence with him that we liked to joke about anything to laugh at everything). I have also given another nickname for Abdul and Michael, "the two sick" because those two are together when they tell jokes and anecdotes that made me literally laughing ... and then fold them so I nicknamed because they are really nice and also a little crazy!
During the journey we have made several steps: golden beaches, salt marshes with flamingos ... Abdul and Michael stopped several times to allow especially the kids who had never been to as many photos as desired. When we arrived opposite the island we took a canoe to reach the island. I must say that the red crab that is eaten at the restaurant on the island is truly exceptional and is the only place in all of Kenya where you can eat is in fact known as the "red crab Robinson." Then in addition to the crab you eat too many other dishes including a coconut rice, which is something exceptional and then various types of fish. The second week we had done the two-day safari to the private reserve Ngutuni but I unfortunately I had some health problems so we had to give up. I was very sorry I can not do the safari, as much as I wanted that Abdul had told me that in the reserve, which is close to Tsavo East, you can make out of the safari to the Masai Mara and track as well as the night safari! Definitely will return for the seventh time, we hope to do as early as January Ngutuni safaris, as they are curious to experience the night safari and the safari off the track, of course, with Abdul Top Kenya Safari.
