Nanyuki is a small village at the foot of Mount Kenya where there is an orphanage ... the Tumaini Children's Home ...
Right here I spent 16 days of fabulous ... UNFORGETTABLE ...
We left from Milan to 08.15 hours on towards London, where we stopped to divide at a time in Nairobi where we arrive at 20.00! ... we as the airline "British Airways" with which we flew without a problem!
Once arrived we stayed the first night in Nairobi at the "Flora Hostel, hostel x young students, having dined at the local Ethiopian Blue Nile, where we ate a delicious goat meat!
The next morning we shared a board of Matatu (van 14 seats) in the direction of Nanyuki! ... about 3 hours for a trip during which we admired extraordinary landscapes!
At our arrival at the orphanage we were greeted by 49 kids ... all beautiful!
We have prepared a dance of welcome and soon we became friends! These children, all HIV-positive orphans and love the pampering, of course, we do not have toiled to reciprocate!
The very day of our arrival was a dead child of only 9 years because of rubella ...
The next Friday we went to the funeral of this little ... back to where we saw that seemed designed quest'arcobaleno!
... this day was special ... certainly not thought of having to attend a funeral, but that will we see other aspects of this culture so different from ours, but who taught us much!
... on Saturday we went to the safari with the kids at the "tented SWEETWATERS CAMP" ... elephants, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, gazelles ... bellissimooooo!
Unfortunately, this holiday is literally sprint ... it enriched my heart! ... surely not forget these beautiful children!
It 'been a wonderful experience, full of emotions ... certainly a living!
