Holidays in Mauritius

Eurofly flights, both on time each way, takes us from a cold spring in a tropical paradise. The tour operator is the Ventaclub and the accommodation is Ambre Hotel, Belle Mare resort. Reliable 4 star hotel welcomes guests with a welcome cocktail, the rhythm of the traditional Sega dance a dance of African slaves who conceived after a hard day's work in fields, abandoned themselves to the rhythm of the drums around the campfire on the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, Ravish we cleaned the room so flawless, leaving fresh flowers on the bed every morning and animals made with the towels. In the village, covered by palm trees, there are 4 restaurants and 3 bars. L'Etoile des Indes is the central buffet, with a good variety of food and fantastic breakfast in the morning. For evening, a good alternative, Les Alizees beach restaurant with menu à la carte, quiet and romantic dinner by candlelight. The desserts are excellent as the service. The bar we used was more than the siRNA. Do not miss the event from 15.00 to 17.30 with cracks that lead by the excellent tea to jasmine. But beware if you arrive at 17.30 and 1 second, the "fun" chef, even the best news of the world could tear a smile, do you prepare them even if you threaten to commit suicide. To know this beautiful island offers the Ventaclub many tours, as well as the local boys who roam the beach, their prices are much lower. Both are quality choices. We rented a car and driving to the left between endless fields of sugar cane, we arrived in Port Louis. Capital of the island, has crowded streets full of shops. At the central market you can find everything from food to shirts, bags, wicker baskets and much more. Fruits and vegetables are arranged on the shelves in perfect order. The herbalists offer teas that heal from it all. Well ... ..! There is much chaos and the frenetic activities. More comfortable is nearby shopping center Caudan Waterfront with boutiques, trendy shops and Craft Market, convenient for buying souvenirs. tea, batik, soap, magnets, Dodo in every conceivable material. Forbidden to return home without having bought at least one. This plump bird is the symbol of the country, so that you put the stamp on the passport on the back. At the Museum of Natural History, also in Port Louis, you can see the famous play of the Dodo, reconstructed using the only complete skeleton exists. At 12 km from the capital lies the village of Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens home of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam. Pleasant to visit, home to many varieties of plants. Famous people, like Nelson Mandela, Indira Gandhi and the Royal British planted trees here. But the main attraction is the pond filled with giant water lilies, with a diameter of up to 2 meters. A real show. At the end of the walk, we followed the advice of the guide EDT, giving us a slice of delicious Sachertorte the Wiener Walzer Cafe. Great idea! Grand Baie is a tourist site, full of restaurants, boutiques and nightclubs, everything it takes to attract tourists. The huge addition to the typical souvenirs U hypermarket offers an assortment of fine tea at attractive prices. Walking along the beach of our hotel, called Palmar, in 20 minutes to get to Belle Mare, where there are shops and currency exchange, very helpful since the unfavorable exchange rate applied by the hotel. In the stretches of public beach where you will find taxis can be arranged if you need it, the figures are exactly half those of the hotel. Specific date and time will be established. To visit the nearby Deer Island, we took a taxi to Trou d'Eau Douce and then a speedboat that took us 10 minutes into a major tourist destination of Mauritius. The island of luxury properties in the Le Touessrok Hotel has beautiful white beaches for long walks and baths in the crystal clear waters. Missing for some time the deer but not the souvenir shops and restaurants to eat fresh fish. If you decide not to leave the village and want to get up from the cot Ventaclub offers soft animation and many creative activities, canoeing, pedal boats, water skiing, windsurfing and a gym, all inclusive. For the super stressed a beautiful wellness center with at least 20 different types of massage, sauna, jacuzzi and turkish bath. And then ... ... ... not enough!
