Mauritius beaches
Beautiful island with a sea of a thousand colors.
Narrow but beautiful beaches, mostly deserted during the week and super crowded in the Mauritian weekend.
Beautiful weather, very hot, even if a little 'wet period due to the fact this is the period of rains. But we we were fortunate and we have had only a couple of days of bad weather.
The island of Mauritius is in mountainous and green and there are many interesting things to see and visit.

Accommodation: Furnished Pereybere (Beach Apartments) with two beds, bathroom, kitchenette and terrace 900 rupees (around € 25.00) per day in two.
Local currency: the Mauritian rupee (our exchange rate was € 1 = 35.55 rupees)
Contrary to what one hears Mauritius is a very cheap destination, dinner is from 2-3 euros and over, the excursions cost from 350 rupees to a maximum of 1200 for the catamaran with lunch included, buses linking all well the various locations and are drawn from 10 rupees upwards. To go the other side of about 50-60 km. away, we spent a couple of euros.
