Christmas in Marrakech.. My holiday trip to Morocco

On 20 December I went with my sons 25 and 16 years to spend Christmas in Marrakesh Morocco at a time so with the intent to spend at least one night in the desert.
To this end, I booked a trip with "Maroc en liberté".
I found myself very well in 2 riad in Marrakech where we slept;

The reception for the night in the desert was pretty good ...
only problem with the driver who accompanied us for the excursion:

Circuit 3 days and 2 nights accompanied

Day 1: Departure from Marrakech at 8:00 am in the car. Directed towards the Tizi n'Tichka to Ouarzazate.
Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Lunch and then to Agdz doors up the valley of the Draa Tamnougalt.
Visit of the kasbah and palm trees.
Dinner and overnight at Ksar.
Day 2: Valley of the Draa Oasis presaharic, Tazarine Alnif Merzouga.
Transfer Sunset in the desert by camel.
Meals and overnight in Berber tent.
Day 3: Return to Marrakech after sunrise.

Overall, we can consider ourselves satisfied with the excursion.

Given that we were aware of the relationship between distance and short excursion are below some of the main reasons that we have left a bad opinion of the organization.

The driver, after being presented merely to provide information on the places that we were going through telegraph.

The same driver, the first thing, just got in the car said to be "just the driver," a phrase that left already see the long and embarrassing silence of the journey by car.

We expected that the atmosphere was more friendly while the purpose was clearly to the driver to go to the place fixed as quickly as possible. Also with regard to the driver, every conversation we have undertaken an attempt was unsuccessful because he was not able to understand sentences, even very simple, in English. None of the people who took part in the excursion is fluent in French, but there we were concerned because the driver offering the excursion was defined as speaking English and French.

All this has helped to increase the predicament in not being able to communicate and embarrassing attempts to make the necessary gestures of communication to express needs such as: "I have to go to the bathroom."

In addition to the atmosphere very nice in the jeep that had been created, many of the places mentioned in the path have been traversed without even getting out of the car.

Sometimes the driver having to remember to say that we were going through a town in the indicated path and pronounced the name. In some rare cases decided independently to stop encouraging them to come down and take a photograph, but left the engine running, leaving you to guess that had just enough time to shoot and we had to stand in the car.

If for some reason I lingered in the car to rise more than 2 or 3 minutes would begin to play the horn. A rather annoying behavior. We stress that the walk was not carried out in the palm.

As for the hike in the desert, as well as hasty, when you get to camp we had a more enthusiastic welcome that, paradoxically, in the car with our driver Mohammed.

But the return from the wilderness (starting at 6am) at the hotel waiting for the driver was Mohammed who was quick to tell us that we had fifteen up to twenty minutes to take a shower and start over. Note that we were 3 people in a single male, was clearly not possible to take a shower head, even if they wanted to be very fast. In addition to everything just returned to the hotel the electric current is mysteriously missing, almost like to encourage us to be faster and not dry my hair. We were able to shower only two by candlelight and without the opportunity to dry my hair.

Upon arrival in Marrakech, after making out of the car, we gave the driver the money in euros (40 €) that we had anticipated him in dirhams (300Dh). Instead of giving us the rest of 100Dh (corresponding to approximately 10 €) climbed into the car and left, keeping the extra money and what is more annoying, without saying goodbye.
