This story more than a "bad surprises" to be a help to those who, like us, loves to vacation in freedom without the help of tour operators.

FLIGHT

After several searches, we have seen that in the period of May, the air Seychelles offer low prices compared to the Air and Qatar Airlines (major airlines that serve the Seychelles) and we are able to "off" with 780 euros per head + 100 internal flight-Mahé Praslin, without the splash of a stopover.
During the journey we have learned from two German tourists that the condor (lufthansa) offers really low prices but with departures from Monaco.

EXCHANGE

In all travel guides and catalogs you will find advice on payments by credit cards or Euros! NON E 'VERO! To Seychelles, albeit illegally, is very widespread change to black, where the locals will offer to change 1 euro to 10 rupees on average. If you change more than 50 euros sometimes even come to 11 rupees. Please note that the official exchange rate of 2006 is about 7 rupees, then changing to black, you can save a good 30% on prices.
Even the taxi if you ask to pay in euros, tell them that you just rupees.

Praslin (3 nights)

We stayed at the GuestHouse Rosemary Anse Volbert on Cote D'Or. They have 4 rooms with a fan blade, nice but not too many pretensions, with direct access on the beautiful beach with views of Saint Pierre sull'isolotto. Breakfast fruit, coffee and bread and jam. Price 70 euros for a double room with breakfast.

Sights:
- Anse Lazio - famous beach, must-see;
- Excursion to Saint Pierre and Couriose Island, the snorkling and walk among the giant tortoises of the Seychelles and the mangrove forests and vegetation Equatorial;
- Anse Kerlan, and no one speaks, but in our opinion is worth the penalty to be seen;
- Anse Volbert - blinding white beach and the sea 1000 shades of blue;
- Anse Georgette - we are not able to see her, but given that everybody talks about it, try to ask permission in advance at the Lemuria Resort, since the access is closed to ordinary tourists.

To eat:
- Pizzeria / gelateria De Luca (Anse Volbert) - first and second Italianized too, pizza and ice cream. prices by 50 Rupees

- Le Goulue (Anse Volbert) - Creole dishes for a pleasant evening, prices by 50 rupees

Movements:
- Bike only to turn the area close to your accommodation
- Bus - the ticket costs only 3 rupees and there are 3 lines that serve the island. careful not to go up with bulky luggage, is not allowed. They are punctual with the schedules published in the various stops.
- Car - could be useful if you want to turn the island into a fully autonomous and if you are pigroni and there should be walking to arrive at the various beaches.

La Digue (3 nights)

We stayed at the Sunshine in La Passe GuestHouse at 500 meters from the jetty. They have 4 rooms with fan and mosquito net, typical surrounded by palm trees and directly facing the sea with the opportunity to enjoy fantastic sunsets with Praslin in the background. Dear owners. Breakfast on the basis of coffee, bread and jam and eggs (if you like!). Price 64 euros for a double room with breakfast. Without breakfast are 50 per night. We advise you not to have breakfast and take advantage of the stocked Gregoire's biggest supermarket on the island where every morning you will find wonderful croissants, muffins and various delicacies.

Sights:
- Anse D'Argent Souse - beach inflazionatissima but unheard of a beauty, enjoy the afternoon after 16, when the tourists begin to leave and the sunlight illuminates the granite, creating the games in color drugs;
- Grande Anse, Petit Anse, Anse Coco - are one after the other, united by a mountain path (follow the arrows on the rocks so as not to miss) and bathing as the periods of the year;
- Anse Patates, practically is the beach of Patran village, where you can go snorkling in peace;
- Anse Severe - nice and quiet;

To eat:
- Zerof - Creole dishes, lunch a la carte (50 rupees) and dinner set menu (110 rupees)
- Chez Marston - Creole dishes and pizza prices by 50 rupees

Movements:
- The bike is the only means more than a wagon pulled by oxen (!) To run quietly in the island (2GG price and 1 / 2: 140 rupees for 2 bikes)

Mahé (2 nights)

We stayed at the Beau Vallon Beau Vallon boungalow to. High quality compared to price. Breakfast Tropical fruit (some never seen before!), Coffee, bread and jam and pancake. Price 60 euros for a double room with breakfast. Air conditioning.

Sights:
- Beau Vallon - is the most famous beach of this island, especially good for swimming at sunset;
- Anse Intendance - tall order, but worth the view;
- Anse Bougainville - tranquil beach where you can go snorkling;
- Anse Takamaka - another beautiful and quiet beach;
- Anse La Mouche - water calmissima a deep green;
- Port Launay - bay with calm water on Sunday to avoid because of local affolatissima who travel with their families.

To eat:
- Boat House (Beau Vallon) - Creole buffet dishes, vegetables and fish grilled (130 rupees)
- Baobab Pizzeria (Beau Vallon) - pizza cooked by local, very similar to our (50 rupees)
- Restaurant in front of Anse La Mouche (not remember the name) - along the road next to the fitness center, where you eat really well (from 50 rupees)

Movements:

- Buses - it only for the price, but being an island larger distances calculated.
