POLE POLE - HAKUNA MATATA.. A relaxing week of holiday in the sunny Zanzibar
We just returned from a nice relaxing holiday in Zanzibar. Left Milan Malpensa with Eurofly. Traveled at night we arrived in the morning, where the buses took us to our village Veraclub. Accommodation in bungalows near the sea. Beautiful sea with clear water and very hot, with trips to high tide in the morning and afternoon. We made two trips, the first in Stone Town and the second island prisons for slaves. This island life is like we were 60 years ago. Many people on foot or by bicycle and on other trucks filled like sardines. The houses are all with tin roofs. In many homes lack the light. In 1800 there was the slave trade, where they left from here. Our village was very nice and we ate very well with fish and good animation. It was a nice holiday, I hope to return again and again to bring toys to children much less fortunate of ours.
