Zanzibar..... my first time in Tanzania
The first time in Zanzibar!
Day March 8 starting at 21.30 with flight from Malpensa Eurofly.
Business class seats usually very welcoming and friendly staff
After dinner we see a movie and eventually we fell asleep!
We wake up very early for breakfast!
Day 9 March 2007 6.00 am arrival at the premises of Stone Town
Queue for approval and payment of $ 50 (no photos required) and queue for removal bags that are delivered by hand at the airport because there is no belt!
Request of the usual tip for the delivery is to avoid opening them.
To expect out there are the boys of the village of animation,
Climb on the bus and about an hour after arrival at Dongwe Village where we are served a welcome cocktail and are also our friends who play in the village.
We allocate our room and the boys bring us our luggage (we are in those of new construction)
The room is very new and spacious bedroom with king size bed and mosquito net on a single bed with mosquito net (which we use as a sofa), two wardrobes, fridge, safe, desk and big fruit basket to welcome.
Our bed is covered with flowers!
The bathroom is spacious.
We are upstairs on the balcony and there are two comfortable armchairs.
From there we see in the green sea!
Immediately descend on the beach (via the swimming pool with sea water) and fine white sand like talcum powder.
There is low tide, therefore, our mission. first walk on the pier, we stop at the bar and sipping a cocktail of fruit look so strange effect of the oil that is wonderful natural pools of crystalline water.
13.00 lunch and we allocate our. table then that will remain throughout our stay.
The afternoon we spend doing the pennichella and placing the bags.

sing together.
After dinner, usually at 22.00 Briefing of the village head for all the different explanations.
Each evening there will be a show, then play, and some evenings on the pier projection of a film
Spend the ns. days in long walks on the beach (without being disturbed by BB) out on a boat for snorkeling,, swimming in the sea and in the pool,
Since it is inside the Wellness Center for a few days making me do relaxation massage oils with various spices.
Unfortunately were not able to organize the Selous safari to the park because there were already the rains began.
We decide to make a few trips
Let's go to Stone Town where we visit the fish market, meat, fruit, the former palace of the sultan, the Anglican church and then around the streets and various shops.
Another trip
Before we bring in a small village where the village head makes us visit their homes made of mud and dung, there are many children and we can not help but give pencils, clothes and some candy
Then go to the carpenters who work hand-carved large wooden doors of mahogany red.
Finally here is the spice plantation where we find ginger, red bananas, cinnamon, nutmeg, the henna and our accompanist is fun to make us guess the smell of various plants.
Another excursion is to Forest józan where we meet the friendly monkeys (Colobus red) monkeys from the back hair fawn living in the forest.
Spend one day doing the blue safari aboard their boat the Dhow.
Lead us on the languages of sand that are formed when there is low tide, we snorkel, then again by boat to the island Kwale where we expect a meal made of rice with various sauces, fish, aragostelle and so much fruit.
They spend so beautiful fifteen days!
We are still missing quite a few trips that we will do in our next trip.
Arriva, unfortunately on the day of departure, alzataccia at 3:45 on Friday, March 23.
Up at the airport bus, luckily no queue for the exit visa since we are in business,
await boarding and 8.00 for then make a stopover Monbasa.
We love Kenya but we left a piece of heart in this wonderful and we are sure we will return!
