Confined to the bottom of the world, beyond a stormy ocean, there is a wonderful ice-covered continent: Antarctica.
I began to feel an irresistible charm to this remote place by reading books of adventure and daring explorers to dramatic shipments as Amundsen, Scott and Shackleton.
The dream became reality when on November 21, 2009 from Half Moon Island, on the other side of the world than to Bra, where I live, the icebreaker the Fram, which are on board, sails to Antarctica ...
I've always heard that the attractiveness of Antarctica is its inaccessibility. My motivation will be a less glamorous, but Antarctica wins because it is also nice in bad weather. The days are mostly foggy, gloomy and dull lights, the skies are dramatic and exciting, however, the same way when it's sunny, if not more.
