The modern China: a trip in the Tibet region

fascinating journey into a different world than we are used to in Europe. In particular, the autonomous region of Tibet, probably because of the difficulty to get there, is what creates higher expectations, but also more fears related to high altitude. One can not, in fact, going to LHASA are thinking about spending a normal weekend without first having made due acclimatization, if you do not want to risk of AMS (acute mountain sickness), which could seriously affect your stay.
And 'But, surely, a journey which we are reminded just come for the scenery, for piety and for the people. A destination certainly difficult, but that can be addressed using your head.
