A journey that I wanted to do for 3 years .. we have finally succeeded, I did not even when the hardest thing to find in India is its loneliness. I was in chaotic city like Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, under the monsoon on the west coast, in places such as beautiful sea Kannyakumari where at the same time I did the bathroom in three different seas, in the middle of the jungle of Kerala, in the beautiful Mysore, in a small peasant village near Bangalore, on a sacred mountain in the Talmilnandu and majestic temple of Madurai. What carryover is what I have written day by day in India on the sheets. Not to look for grammatical errors. Are exactly the words you wrote in those days.

Intro

28-07-2006
Reason for travel? -Calls for the beautiful (and not exaggerating) of Miss Indian consulate.
- Tourism-answer.
- I'm 50 - she concludes.

01-08-2006
So soon you start (August 6 at 6:50 in the morning is my flight to Frankfurt).
I could see, people to whom I confided that I will go to India, these different types of attitude:

The first: 'Go to India? Alone? What courage ... but we go to do ....

The second: 'Go to India? Please bring me a SARI / dell 'silver / perfume / dell' incense / an elephant / dell 'opium etc.. etc..

The third: 'Go to India? What beautiful and I would go to Africa .. that torment to think that in Italy in 2006 there is still someone who does not know where there is a "states with only 1,080,000,000 named India." Naturally to them, I have not even responded ...

However I am ready, put in your backpack few things.

Today I bought the VIVOTIF (vaccine for typhoid) el'antimalarico but not what I advised the doctor of vaccinations international Magenta. That prescribed would have cost me the beauty of 160 Euro (3 packs of Malarone 53 Euro each).
I have taken the Lariani (1 pack 2 Euro) that difference! I saved "only" 158 Euro!
In return I shall say if I did well ..

MUMBAY, 18:00

I will shortly lead to the BUS-STATION. I booked for 21.00 a place in Sleeper class on a bus to arrive and GOA in the city if all goes well tomorrow at 12.00.
INCREDIBLE India! (As advertising) a mixture of flavors, smells, colors, people, cows, dogs and all the more.
Release from yesterday to 2.00 at night I was attacked by a flock of "jackals" and all that I offer hotel rooms, taxis etc.. but at prices to be truly unthinkable in India. Vabbè which was the first time I set foot in this country but not even the last of the travelers of this world.
However, the cases were two or spend the night out from under a thick rain (it rains here continuously since I arrived), or fall into the hands of one of these "jackals."
After a good hour of bargaining, I agreed with a man for 650 rupees (1 euro = 57 rupees) for a night in a hotel + car step up to that point. I stayed in a good room, there was also the air conditioning that after 1 hour I had to turn off ... suffer the cold in India seemed impossible!
This morning I woke up around 10:00, I was granted with the flashy girl from the bus to the GOA. 900 rupees are dropped to 750 and I have agreed not to have to make too much splash. We do not understand anything!
Come out for a walk in a downpour, I noticed that the hotel was the only decent building in the area among many shacks! Visitors not the shadow of course, but I noticed that the poverty of India is truly humble. Taking photos was in a few seconds surrounded by 20-30 people who set me smile. Cute these Indians! In the middle of 1000 "Hi Sir" a barefoot child I appeared in front. We became friends and together with his brother and other children took me to VHIAR LAKE where they fished with nets. The barefoot boy (they were almost all) with which I close this strange friendship and then accompanied me to the market where he sold everything. After yet another look at his feet cut I asked him why not at least wear a pair of slippers. "No money of course his answer. I went into a shop for 40 rupees and I bought a pair used.
As I give to him I found myself surrounded by kids 30-40 who wanted the slippers. I have dissipated and I returned to the hotel where I chatted with people where we worked.
After another brief tour of these roads I am here to wait for the elusive time to give the goodbye to this city that is destined to become the most populous in the world. I read that in 2020 will reach 35 million inhabitants!

00.00, MUMBAY - GOA bus

I am in my "couch" in the bus trip that will take me to GOA and after a chat with 2 Australian (father and daughter) put me to write something to tell yet because it will be very difficult to sleep here.
The streets are full of holes and smells on the bus "deluxe" is unpleasant (perhaps those are not as tourists).
The journey from to the point of the passage of the bus I was on a motorisciò in the company of the girl (I was practically cadge a ride but I am happy). She told me things alcunee in Mumbai and Indian religions, and I noted that you are not Hindu but a Muslim. In short, Hindus carrying the ball in the middle of the forehead.
Come to "stop the bus I have requested information from 2 guys who worked in a kiosk and I reported that my coach would have increased to 22.00. I left them in my backpack and I went in search of something edible, and I devoured a PAV BHAJI (I do not know what) while sipping a te!

18:00, CALANGUTE

I find the HOTEL SAAHIL in a country called Calang. Wearing clothes that are just now hanging in the room hoping it to dry. I have a nice room for 2 nights and I find it quite by accident. Around 9.00 am I woke up the bus the guy shouting "GOA GOA. Frantically I descended from coaches and I was immediately attacked along with two Australians from taxi drivers and riscioisti. Inform me that we MAPUSA. I ask you to GOA, "Here is Mapusa" I respond. Well after a while 'I understand that you are in the region but not at GOA OLD GOA Panaji or which are the major cities of the region.
Greeting 2 Australian and take a motorisciò that brings me here in Calang always under a constant rain (the C. .. or monsoon !!!). I system in the hotel, I make a nice shower (the first) of course the cold and go out to make a turn for the village. Pass my day between the beach and around the country. Here whites are really many, tourism though we are not in "high season" we see how!! I know 2 girls that I speak Dutch raving. They took dell'oppio or something strange. Within in a antique store to ask the prices and I have talked to the shopkeeper of my project. He was very interested and I found that in India the business can really do! But I am sure that Goa as a region is very expensive because of the many tourists to these things then there will be time. In a hut eating a strange rice with seafood, which I pay 50 rupees by including a water bottle, then I know a couple of Germans who have returned from the South and I see with them a school. We enter and gifts to children of sweets that I had with me and my notebook. Pity not to have had another 50.
Now I relax a little 'that maybe tonight I am going to do some' of staying with the 2 Dutch girls.
Tomorrow, if rain does not go to OLD GOA in motion.

11:00, CALANGUTE

I tried to take a local bus to go to OLD GOA but without success, there I understood nothing, and wait 30 min. riders with whom I was given yesterday for 150 Rupees. I want it Motorisciò while 250 taxis even 400!
Sipping a while and the Indian story of last night.
Around 21:00 I left and I went to CLUB CITY where there were Greta Ann and I waited at a table. I sat with them and I am not in India. At least not in the real India. I saw India highly placed, the higher castes and the Indian Christians (Inguardabili).
I was in this room together with 2 Dutch and surrounded by Indians who ate fat and drinking a can and not more than 10 meters out children, women and men as thin nails. I did not take too well this situation even though the end I did the evening eating, drinking, dancing and spending.
Here apart from the 2 blonde, who tomorrow will Paloem (which from what I understood to be the top of GOA) and the girls and the girls set me but not with the same eyes of people watching me while I walk the streets .
Come out to put the conscience is clear I gave you 50 Rupees to the first boy who asked me something (a beggar for a considerable sum) ..

15:00

I have just taken a bottle of water and put it in the bag was wet, I opened all the sheets so I'm drinking a "KINGFISHER" in a restaurant in Panaji. 'S part to me are the couple who runs the restaurant and their 2 children. I set all the time and just finished writing attack button.
With the bike I came to OLD GOA (35 km from Calang) at least 10 times risking their lives. As driving! I admired the scenery consists of rice fields, jungle huts and real!
I have even seen 2-door soccer in the middle but there was a field to play but a rice ball!
OLD GOA to come without even having time to get off the bike I found in his hand 2 candles (10 rupees) and a necklace of flowers around your neck (10 rupees).
OLD GOA end consists of a destroyed temple, a Christian church that seems abandoned outside but inside you leave without a few words from Portuguese and ruined barracks 4. And I thought that was a city!
Vendors outside the church wanted to sell me everything and I eventually bought the chess hand-made by a seller of Agra in India and a postcard of the early'900.
I offered you a special (but I did not understand the difference between special and not) at 5 sellers talking with them and making tell OLD GOA.
I have therefore for the first time a true Indian bus to reach Panaji (7 rupees). 10 Km crushed like a sardine but after that I read things on internet sincerely thought worse.

20:00

I have just returned to the hotel and have just gone up in room 4 having exchanged words with my "guardian angel". I made time to see a lot of local football team and now understand why the Indians are not good at this sport. But talking about the main city Panaji GOA. Nothing that I have gone a little 'stroll around, I ate two robe who ate all the drinking you. I went to market for fruit, fish and flowers where I bought 3 bananas that just came out I gave the first 3 children I met. I have talked to look at women with children magrissimi who bought flowers, and does not understand, the flowers are eaten mica is it not better to spend the little money for something edible? Religion is religion, and here are all true religion, who Hindu, Muslim and those who Christian.
Along with bananas I gave 10-15 rupees to beggars on the streets. I can not do without it! I joined also by a barber to shave me. The advice I gave a guy who was in India it is really true, we must not lead this country in the strip and even the shaving foam, here in India there are excellent barbers are well cleaned and given that each cut change blade (20 rupees).
The return to Calangute bus was fantastic. I chatted for 1 hour with the children who fell from school. Last thing, I bought my ticket to Bangalore. Frankly I wanted to go to Hampi, but the first train to this city there was only Saturday and not from here but from VASCO DE GAMA. And I can not stay here until Saturday so tomorrow at 7:00 pm for Bangalore.
Now I will make a "shower" and then follow the Indian music that comes up to my terrace.

20:00, GOA - BANGALORE bus

I have just gone up on the bus that will take me to Bangalore and since we take only 12 hours to tell this is a po 'of facts and more. We start from last night, following the Indian music is finished in a place where work of Tibetans and there are no other words came barefoot slippers, which are the only footwear to be wearing when I came to GOA. I chatted for more than 2 hours with a Tibetan girl who told me some 'of his land and the reasons for their flight from the Nepalese highlands.
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

07:00, GOA - BANGALORE bus

They are still on the bus directly to Bangalore. Tonight I had to stop writing because I have to change buses and then MAPUSA on this bus so far there was no way to write because of darkness.
What I have suffered cold tonight! Are you fucking air conditioning! This is the last time here in India have taken half with air conditioning!
A MAPUSA I met 3 guys who are in India from 1 month (2 in London and a Spaniard in Madrid). Are with me on the bus while a sweet Belgian girl I saw a little 'scared to change the bus is not here. Who knows what he did, and she had a ticket to Bangalore.
Tell a 'yesterday (my last day at Calang). In the morning I went to visit a Christian school that I saw during the journey in motion when I went to OLD GOA. The rest of the day I spent a while to spend 'money and trying to make me explain something about the Hindu religion.
Expenditure: 13 rupees for you and Bhaji, 100 rupees for a wooden elephant and a small sculpture in wood always Ganish, 100 rupees for a box that I think in ancient silver (best buy), 200 rupees for a piece of strange rock with beautiful color, a sculpture of an elephant made with a rock and a Buddha (which I thought was Shiva), 50 rupees for a meal offered at 2 medicanti, 50 rupees a tip to my "guardian angel", 15 rupees 2 cobs and 40 rupees for a packet of Wills and 1 bottle of water. In total almost 600 rupees (less than 12 euros).
I just lifted his gaze on the horizon but the city does not see it so go ahead to write. Here the vegetation has changed a lot compared to where GOA was very thick and I was practically in the middle of the jungle.
The landscape that I'm seeing now is not nothing that, with some wood and palm trees of various kinds and a village of peasants with a cultivated field.
Last thing less, I have 3 times the wrong PIN code for which the only contact I had with the Western world there is now no more. But perhaps it's better this way. INCREDIBLE India!

12:00, BANGALORE

I have just taken a room in a guest house. I think they turn 2. the journey was interminable: 15 hours! I am tired, I have your back to pieces, but now I go to discover Bangalore.
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

23:00

I have just returned to the guest house dead tired but happy. Bangalore I like a lot, is a city alive, clean and huge. It covers a wide area and to move today I used the motorisciò.
Release from the city map in hand that I was given by the operator of the guest, I walked a while 'on my stroll as usual and as I usually within 10 minutes I have given to beggars all the money I had in my pocket . Bought a packet of Wills (here only have packages of 10 and cost 27 rupees) have entered into a bar with a map in hand and with the sheets that I had downloaded from the internet about this city. My intention was to drink a chai but the answer was "no chai only ... .... (I do not remember the name). So I ordered one and they brought me a plate of beans and vegetables always very spicy (which I also did aa) and a po 'of rice. Everything I eat is touched with the hands, cutlery and napkins did not exist. There was not even anything to drink except for water in bulk for now I continue to dodge. Without anyone seeing me this water, I used to pulirmi un po 'mouth and hands. Following the directions of the operator of the space I took a rickshaw to go to CUBBON PARK which is the center of the city. After a walk in the park where I drank two good juices made at the time with the cane, I have talked to look at what I believed was a Hindu ceremony. There were 3 men sounded strange drums carrying a shoulder, a man with a megaphone in hand and 200 presona sitting under a tarpaulin. All this in a corner of the main square of Bangalore. Then while I was about to go to my first Hindu temple, all these people have lifted up taking by the hand and together they started to sing. They then occupied the center of the square paralyzing the chaotic traffic. At that time, and now a student who explained to me that this was a demonstration against the Government of KARNATAKA by some Hindu peasants. In fact, they arrived well Celerina that unlike the Italians they were all emaciated and had placed the truncheon of the sticks and I think that the Chinese use to eat.
I met the student who I was "enlightened" and I went with him to drink a coffee for that magic for him has turned into a dinner (of course paid by me).
I talked about many interesting things and I also suggested to visit a temple in which we came together. Looking outside I had laughed but was hit to say the least, amazing! The temple of SHIVA! His sculpture is gigantic and as if by magic we have moved from the chaos of city traffic to the indescribable quiet Bangalore you from this place. Now however I have the ideas even more confused sull'induismo .. that religion! What strange DEI. Brahma, Shiva, his wife Parvati and their son GANISH (a fat man with the face of elephant), KRISHNA, RADA, a cobra, a mouse, a cow head that speaks, a stone that opens ... Boh ...
Outside the temple I came back (with the student) in the commercial area of the city and after a walk and a coffee we were gathering for tomorrow at 11:00 since I powers to the village outside the city where his sister lives.
I have walked and seeing that the stadium was open and enlightened we are entered for 20 minutes watching a game of baseball. Sport that I do not like at all!
He returned to rickshaw near the guest house I walked a little 'in the streets of my "zone" to eat a tasty dish of peas from one of the many Baracchini that are on the streets, entering a cinema where I endured 10 minutes pretending to be interested in a delirious Indian films. Indian films are all sung and danced. Are all delusions.
I also forgot a pole in a shop LEVIS 499 rupees as my I have been given to a beggar and the only shirt I have with me the Regalerò tomorrow Rådal.

24:00, BANGALORE

My guardian angel (a boy who will take 15 years) has just left me and I just lit a stick of incense which gives off a delicious aroma.
Today I returned to the hotel is very relieved to material things and money but a lot happier and richer than yesterday. E 'was an unforgettable and exciting day! At 8:00 I woke up and asked where I had a shower since yesterday, my guardian angel answered: "The shower? In the morning! "Personally, I was practically see inside a bucket with a smaller container. Made the "shower" are out to discover new things Bangalore and after having tried in vain to move with 40 rupees, I did take a rickshaw in front of the majestic presidential palace. Walking through the city I bought a beautiful yellow-orange SARI for my friend asked me it is imperative that I knew when it came to India. I could ask you 10 times the price because the purchase took 20 minutes of hard bargaining.
At 11:00 I went to the place of meeting with Rådal and after breakfast we took 2 buses and 1 rickshaw to reach the village.
I was at the center of attention of everyone, and the village head was amazed in my presence. I was surrounded by children's soft-colored powder that I smiled all the time. Poor people but humility. Today these people men, women and children have enriched me greatly and I can return for a little lightened, I have some material things because at the end of the day Rådal I brought with me here n room giving everything for me was not necessary; a pair of pants, 2 shirts, 5 pairs of socks (do not use here), the alarm (I have already re another), and apart from the well Lariani all the medicine that I had brought.
I also bought a 50 Kg bag of rice that have the score of the village women.
In this village with the farmers and the head have been in their plantations of fruit (I have also seen a cobra!), I have strange taste tropical fruits and then caught a dozen coconut trees, we toasted to our meeting with the milk of these fruit.
Rådal's sister (35 years a widow with 2 children) has prepared a delicious lunch that we ate, of course without cutlery, sitting on the ground in their small house. I drank for the first time while in India that do not come from a sealed bottle. It was the most beautiful day since in India, the talk and get to know these people, the play with these children has enriched me a lot even if until now I had never seen so closely poverty. I would like to help ... .. but I do not know how ...

18:00, MYSORE

I'm traveling even if they are in the room sitting on my bed. A moment to relax and then I throw in VILAS PALAS where it seems tonight from 19:00 there will be something great.
Here in Mysore, I arrived at 12:00 and I struggled to be part of the usual Indian facing you for the hotel and after a long walk at Hotel Karthik I find a real tavern but very cheep (175 rupees per night).
Here, my guardian angel is a little boy 'perverted but very nice. As I asked him where I could find a map of the city has literally taken me by the hand and accompanied me around the city where I was almost pointless to buy a map. Strolling through the streets has begun to make me strange questions about girls and almost wanted to bring him in a lodge (at 2 in the afternoon !!!). Well in the end we are almost finished with strength and I found myself among 10 Indian girls who said "I want english man" turning to me. I managed to run away saying that I was married and that I was a convinced Catholic. Somewhat straightened 'my guardian angel I made to visit the magnificent Amba Vilas Palas, which is an amazing palace of the sultans of the early'900 with over 600 rooms and luxury unimaginable elsewhere.
Leaving this place as a Muslim that the Hindu temples must go barefoot my guardian angel has returned to work in hotel. Then after a good dish in an Indian restaurant, I started to wander around the city and I have noticed that here the beggars than Bangalore have multiplied. A man with strange things on the face that did not understand what I had presented himself before and after many attempts succeeded in guiding it where she wanted to win. I found him in front of a beautiful Christian cathedral, and after a brief look inside the church (as well go to OLD GOA instead of the twelfth apostle was a woman) the man with the bubonic I presented a boy who was the owner of a shop of perfumes and incense really good. But the surprise was going to get it extracted a huge box with several inside as hashish, marijuana and even opium. Well I left this shop in your pocket with 200 grams of incense, and more than 10 grams of grass buonissima (all at 150 rupees). Buon viaggio!
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

23:30, MYSORE

Last night I came out to admire the palace of the sultans all illuminated. Lets you open-mouthed! Then almost overnight, I came in the hands of a girl Beatrix Paris.
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

15:00, MYSORE

Beatrix started yesterday at 18.00 at a time in Bangalore. I have spent with you the wonderful moments, we were to visit the Temple CHAMUNDESWARI and for the first time I have purchased and then tried opium. Strange but pleasing effect that may have been amplified by the sweet company of Beatrix.
Now I'm back from a tasty lunch in fact I think most luxurious restaurant in Mysore (250 rupees) and DEVARAJA BAZAAR where I bought sensational perfumes and incense, a violin and a strange wooden box.
Today, August 15 here as throughout the India is celebrating 's Independence Day, the streets are covered in flags and Indian women wear beautiful SARI.
Happy Independence Day to all going to celebrate with the Indians.

00:00 ERNAKULAM - KOCHI

Accommodation at the luxurious HOTEL Srini of Ernakulam city dell'affascinante region KERALA. Perhaps too many luxuries for me but this time instead of trying the usual tavern I marry here. After the heavy travel today, happily relieved by the beautiful landscape, I need to rest a little 'and some' comfort and luxuries every now and not hurt.
I started from Mysore at around 9.00 this morning with a rickety bus and arrived at Calicut I took a train of second class (57 rupees) to arrive here at 22.00.
All with the frame of a beautiful landscape. KERALA is the green and the palm trees and giant bamboo shelter with their shade almost the whole state from the tropical sun. This journey naturally in the company of Indian simpaticissimi given that during the journey I have not even met a Westerner.
Now that I've even tried one of those trains that all off, well apart from the many people crowded, the seats scomodissimi (luckily I managed to sit), the low speed and the bars instead of windows I have advice. Otherwise India would be if you are not among the people.
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

15:00, CHERAY BEACH

I find myself on a beach CHERAY BEACH ISLAND VYPPEN of which lies to the west of another island (FORT COCHIN). Here are first-come, taking a bus from MG ROAD to Ernakulam for FORT COCHIN, then FORT COCHIN sgarrupato with a boat came on VYPPEN ISLAND, and finally another bus from the "port" has brought me here on CHERAY BEACH (about 3 hours). What peace! It was worth it! Only the sound of waves and 2 Indian girls that I smile.
Yesterday at 8:00 am I was already around the streets of Ernakulam, the modern and rich area of the city which is also the center of commercial activities. It seems to walk among the streets of a city type Bratislava with the difference that the contour is made up of friendly faces Indian you smile and want to talk to you. Made a big breakfast, I asked for the bus always written in Hindi to go in FORT COCHIN where I came after 1 hour. On the bus I met an antique dealer to whom I reported that in Italy do its work.
In India on public transport do not ever sit next to girls, women are front and behind the men, but sometimes I like to do a tear to the rule.
The bus went through 2 long bridges to get to my destination which is also the terminus. I think this city is sull'estuario sort of a big river. A set of islands and peninsulas linked together by bridges and boats. The Venice of India!
FORT COCHIN is an area of narrow streets and old buildings and in this labyrinth is the oldest ghetto jew Asia. Centuries ago, they lived a thousand Jews, and now many of them have been converted into magnificent antique shops but prices were a little 'too high.
I saw many tourists and I met 2 guys in Florence who were paying a chamber FORT COCHIN 1500 rupees each. I pay 400 and I think a lot. I visited the synagogue of the XVI century, a Christian church from which it comes out of the children who asked me for pens. I was inside a bag with 10 bananas and I have all their presents. Always buy the fruit to give a ride. Get a quick win over an innocent smile. After a chai (those that I am drinking) that I was an old man who wanted to trim dell'erba have boarded a boat to an island for the case to case.
I finished on VYPPEN ISLAND (an island of fishermen) and after a short walk I met 4 guys from the place: a mechanic, 2 fishermen and a farmer direct marijuana. With them I spent the afternoon drinking beer (of course, offered by me) that I went to take a bike with them to smoke and observe the fishermen throwing nets today. Ernakulam going back to the reverse journey, I have "awakened" in the midst of buildings and traffic. How dall'isoletta.
After a couple of beers in the worst bars in Ernakulam 4 and exchanged words with two mafiosi of the place are back at the hotel at 23.00. One beer and I had not even cane the strength to take off your clothes.
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

21:00, ERNAKULAM

I am in my room. On CHERAY BEACH I met the two girls of 19 years that I smiled. Our chat was interrupted by the arrival of a monsoon and then left the beach we were sheltered under a shed to drink coconut milk. In turn, I noticed that there were many red flags, posters with the hammer and sickle and images of Che Guevara and they gave me the confirmation. Are in the communist state of Kerala and I was glad to know that India is the state with the highest literacy rate (over 90% of the population).
Since India was the first time to me for so long with 2 girls of the place and time of the greetings I did not know what to do ... I did not know their habits ....
Now I am in a moment of indecision: I do not know if spending the night here in my beautiful room or try to go to the bus-stand and take (if any) for a bus KANYAKUMARI ...
caratteri piccoli caratteri medi caratteri grandi

21:30, KANYAKUMARI

Last night prevailed the desire to visit new places on laziness so I put the backpack on my shoulder and went directly to the BUS-STAND. I asked for information KANYAKUMARI and are finished on one of the usual malconci bus to Trivandrum (capital of Kerala) from where, after more than an hour waiting in the middle of the night, I took another bus that brought me here. Apart from the usual Indians who have always wanted to write about this bus there was a girl with a beautiful face. I was really impressed!
Decreased by bus at 5 am (I thought worse) deliberately have fallen into the hands of the usual propositori hotels, rooms, etc.. (Waiting for you at all hours) and I did bring to the discrete HOTEL Jass (200 Rupees per night). Having a shower with the usual bucket, I was fascinated by what I saw from my window. Indescribable in words. This morning at 9:00 even though the sleep and fatigue, I was already around the streets of the village to the south of India (of course excluding islands). Having been watching the fishermen on the beach that systems networks I took the boat tour to visit the two sacred islands not far from the shore so much. On one there is a temple dedicated to Swamy VIVEKERANDA (which I did not understand who is) while the other is the giant statue of SAINT THIRUVALLUVAR that watches over KANYAKUMARI. These visits usually in the company of Indian tourists are now well over a dozen photo albums of wealthy families in India. Once back on land I was (I think) in the most sacred place. A temple where to enter not only had to be barefoot but without the mesh. A truly relaxing place to meditation, a quiet but overall I had to sweat to make the gurus who did not want to dive into the water. I eat lunch un'aragosta and smooth thanks to Fred, I bought two, one I've made while cooking the other with the claws are tied I did make a living in a bag. After lunch I went to the beach and lucky that it's over lobster in the bag has regained his freedom. In India you can have the conscience is clear even with the lobsters. The one eat the other alive, but ...
The waiter of the restaurant told me about a river that forms the waterfalls near a village in the middle of the jungle not far from here. So asking for information with a bus as usual with no doors and no windows are THUCKAY reached and from there with another bus even more sgarrupato through a beautiful landscape of mountains and jungle are now in the village of THIRPARAPPU. I've been to the waterfalls for more than an hour and then I was wrong in the place where women wash. I took a couple of photos (both washed dressed) and I are dissipated in the middle of the jungle huts where the people looked at me as if I were an alien. I have also seen an elephant in freedom and a chained (poor).
Berms time I go to a beer with a guy of SRI LANKA (well we are close to that island).
A THUCKAY from a seller I bought a small metal box that dates back to 1400 and 2 rings that have a few 1000 years for money. I think a bargain!

22:30, KANYAKUMARI

This morning as I woke up, I donned the costume and a shirt and I went to the beach with only a small hand towel. At least at the point where three seas meet and the different battles against waves of foam bath I had to do it ..
Then around KANYAKUMARI I knew Giusto, an Italian who married an Indian woman who lives here for 20 years, antique craft. I bought an old silver bracelet. After a long chat Giusto counseled me to climb on top of a mountain where you can admire a spectacular landscape. To arrive at the foot of this mountain has kindly given me a ride in motion first by inviting her to his house (practically a museum). Then with the foot a couple of infradito I improvised rock climber on the mountain full of cobra (I have only seen 1).
In the middle of the climb, having crossed a couple of hermits with long beard in meditation, I came to a small temple where Santone invited me to join offrendomi fruit blessed by him.
I left the temple is surrounded by total silence between strange plants and various types of reptiles, but despite many attempts at the top of the mountain was not able to get there. I took 3 different paths all but blocked by insurmountable walls. A siesta during the quiet was interrupted by some strange voices in the spoken language TAMIL, have sprung up 5 kids (all Muslims) in the village that is at the foot of the mountain. With them I spent a few hours but with the very limited dialogue (none of them spoke English). I have managed to explain that this mountain is sacred because the flora consists of many medicinal plants. Down together to the village I wanted to offer my new friends a beer (very expensive for them) and we started out with 2 bikes (in 3 out of each) at a time of a VIN SHOP but, incredibly, we were stopped by police. Well here !!!!! I quickly greeted my companions and I are dissipated looking for a bus to return to "home." Arrived in KANYAKUMARI I ate a little fried barracuda and the rest I spent the evening talking with Giusto.

23:00, MADURAI

I arrived in Madurai after an endless journey (200 km in 9 hours). The bus traveled on which it was well broken. However it was worth it. We will stay only 1 day because I took the ticket to Chennai. Tomorrow evening will divide the clock is ticking. Today I saw a beautiful temple from outside. Tomorrow we will come back and I hope to be able also to see the temple of the monkeys. Madurai city where the streets seem a river in full (you walk through water and mud) but very, very sacred.

23:30, MADURAI

I'm finishing the beer that brought me my guardian angel and smoking a joint in complete solitude. In India it is really true: the most difficult thing to find is loneliness. Accommodation at Ascor PALACE HOTEL 11, Perumal THEPPAN EAST, TOWN ON ROAD Madurai 1 (100 rupees) a tavern! Even the hostel in Amsterdam and even the room sgarrupata Algerian quarter of Nice were the worst. The share with a nice reptile and insect in 1000.

18:30, MADURAI

Sunday morning at 6:00 I get a flight from Bombay to Frankfurt and the clock is ticking and they are distant from this city. I travel a little touch 'more fast than usual. 30 mimuti I check out from the hotel. Here in the hotel you calculate the day (24 hours) and I arrived yesterday evening at 18:00 (1 hours I have made remitted).
This morning I went to visit the temple SRI MEENASKSHI with its Gopurem really beautiful and there are many temples in the south from what I saw, but these are the most beautiful and colorful that I saw. Inside the temple there I spent over 3 hours but the best places are hidden from view of non-Hindu.
Came from the big temple Ganesan Ganesan and two junior friendly Indians that I met last night, eating the lunch I usually rice with spicy mama Italy and I accompanied Ganesan junior in the slums where he lives. In these places first-hand the poverty! Then greet 2 funny and also nice Frenchman Nantes I devoted to seek some treasure to take with me in Italy.

16:30, CHENNAI

I find myself at Chennai / MADRAS in less than 2 hours I have a flight that will take me to Mumbai. I arrived in this city yesterday morning at 7:00 at night after a trip of only 11 hours.
Arrived at the bus station I asked a guy if there were some half going to Bombay. And I answered: "Only train 52 hours." What? Well the idea of moving the last 2 days on a train in India just not going for me which I did take a rickshaw to the airport where I bought a ticket to Mumbai (2500 rupees). 2 hours flight instead of 2 days by train. Lot of money to be spent in India but good!
Removed the thought of the journey I was to marry MENAAM LODGE where I had a good camera. Requested some information of the old lodge, I walked to catch the local train to go by the parties of the center, the center which I think I ever found. I descended to the FORT stop and I found myself surrounded by police and military. Out of this area have been on military immense beach with your feet to soak I chatted happily with a nice Indian girl. Then I started to take buses and trains at random wandering around the city until midnight. Small city. Only 7 million inhabitants.
I have not encountered even a tourist! This is why I believe that he never found the center.
This morning at 8:00 I had to leave the room and left the backpack at the reception I made a trip to the snake park and also at the zoo (which sadly). It was just parading before me a goddess .... Try to attack button.

09:00, MUMBAY

I just fix the rucksack from a shoemaker in a little while and go in the center of Indian trade and tonight if I can also give you a look in BOLLYWOOD. Yesterday morning I changed my hotel room is disgusting, but always with the same treatment I pay only 200 rupees, not 620!
HOTEL all'AMBIKA are close to Sher-E-PUNJAB GUARDAWARA which is a big mosque. Basically I am in a Muslim area of Bombay, and my window overlooks the courtyard of this mosque. Bombay is truly gigantic. My hotel is 25 kilometers from the center! To get there yesterday morning (rush hour) I did bring to Andheri station from a rickshaw and go after the 4th failed attempt to board the train and when I was about to give up a guy showed me the 5th track ( practically train slow, those of old). I took that and after 1 hour I descended to the Marine Lines station at the beginning of the famous Marine Drive (one yard). I have traveled all over (3 or 4 km) walk with a visit to a Muslim holiday where I have also offered rice full of ants. I passed in front of the large hotel, in front of the headquarters of the powerful banks, among several slums in the midst of the fishing village to arrive after 3 hours before the GATEWAY OF India and the TAJ MAHAL. Then I spent my time on the tourist ROAD close to this majestic hotel. I lunched at LEOPOLD and I met a boy Jamaica. 23.00 I took the train to go back in my area.
