If you want to know more about India than other countries that we visited at:

as well as valuable tips, beautiful pictures will take you through new cultures ...

New Dehli: good starting point for visiting Rajasthan. Already the airport is breathed life pulante of this beautiful country. The traffic congestion. Cars, rickshaws and motorbikes with the deafening noise of their horns to signal their right of way. Cows insensitive to the chaos that surrounds them rested in the middle of the road. Incredible India. And this is just a small taste.

Varanasi (Alka Hotel - great location. Very humble but with an incredible view of the Ganges.): The sacred city of the holy cities of India. Benares or Varanasi, its present name which means "the city between two rivers" the Varuna and Asia, is the focal point for all Indians who want to make a pilgrimage. It rises on the west bank of the river sacred Ganges.
Sarnath: a few miles from Benares noisy a little oasis of peace and greenery. Here in the park of the Gazelle, the Buddha gave his first teaching after enlightenment and later Buddhism spread across India. The stupa DHARMARAJIKA about 30 m high, now in ruins, was built by Emperor Ashoka 200 years after the death of Buddha. Its destruction, was found inside a box of green marble containing the ashes of Buddha.

Agra (Tourist Rest House):
- TAJ MAHAL, one of two reasons why to visit Agra is known to all. The beautiful Taj Mahal. In 1634, the death of his beloved wife, the Shah Jahan built the Taj as his final resting place. Known as the temple of love-Indian enormous structure made entirely of white marble, surmounted by a huge dome and flanked by minarets on all four sides, some walls are adorned with Quranic verses. We recommend a visit to the sunset.
- RED FORT: Built between 1565 and 1573 on the right bank of the Yamuna. Sha Jhanan embellished with the royal palaces, the reception hall and a mosque. A really beautiful building.
Along the road that leads from Agra to Jaipur recommend two stops:
- Fatehpur Sikri: This is an abandoned city built entirely of red sandstone by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his residence. It was abandoned a few years later for lack of water. With its richly carved palaces and buildings, is an architectural gem without equal.
- Galt: less touristy (at least in 2004 it was) and very charming. E 'a temple is completely surrounded by rocks and vegetation. There are tanks in which the Indians, men and women bathe separately.

Jaipur (Jaipur Inn Hotel / Samode): Founded in 1727, is the pink city, state capital of Rajasthan. It 's the home of wealthy merchants of carpets and jewelry.
- Hawa Mahal "the Palace of Winds", a building with a beautiful pink sandstone façade, is located in the crowded bazaar. The facade, with a total of 953 niches allowed to noblewomen to attend the hustle and bustle of Jaipur.
- CITY PALACE: different show rooms full of clothes and fabrics brocade embroidery of the royal family members and even weapons, carpets and paintings.
- AMBER FORT: slightly off from Jaipur on a hill sits this magnificent fort. Following the tradition of the ancient maharaja, you can climb on the backs of elephants along a peaceful road and overview came to the Jai Pol, the door of victory, you enter the large courtyard. Temples dedicated to Goddess Kali and the god Ganesh, the courtroom adorned with precious carpets, entertainment rooms, apartments personal Jai Singh, his Arem and yet the wonderful hall of mirrors where the walls are completely covered with small mirrors.

Fatehpur: about 4 hours drive from Jaipur, in Shekawati, there is the land of the haveli, the residences of local lords, beautifully decorated with frescoes depicting scenes from the colonial period. You can visit the villages of Mandawa and Fatehpur.

Bikaner: transfer an entire day (8 hours) between rural villages and the beginning of the Thar Desert. It 's the most northerly town in the desert town, surrounded by imposing walls of 7 km and has five entrances.

Jaisalmer (Hotel Sona): Built in 1156, is one of the most fascinating cities in Rajasthan, deeply sunken in the Thar Desert. Arriving at sunset, its buildings, ramparts, and its walls built of yellow sandstone reflect a golden light that has earned him the name "city of gold."
- The Fort of Jaisalmer rises from the sea of sand that surrounds it, also known as "Sonar Kila" strong golden. We also visit the Jain temple Parswanath Temple, the oldest and most beautiful of the Jain temples inside the fort. Now out of the building there is a bazaar called Mank Chowk: it's worth a walk through the narrow streets to watch as well as shops, ethnic settlements.
- THE HAVEL: leave the town, head towards the city proper to visit the Haveli, richly decorated palaces in yellow sandstone built by wealthy merchants and nobles Salim Sing Ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmanlji haveli, and Tazia Tower.
- Lodurva: 15 km outside of Jaisalmer, once the ancient capital, is an important place of pilgrimage for Jains. In the temple there is a hole from which, they say, a snake comes out at night to drink the milk that is left on offer, but of course can be seen only by those who have a special blessing.
- SAND DUNES: about 40 km from Jaisalmer you can enjoy an incredible, two in the Thar desert with a camel excursion just before sunset. You can choose how we spend the night in the huts in the desert of the Khuri village, where houses of mud and straw are decorated with motifs similar to those of Persian carpets. Eye, it takes waaay to be adaptable.
Jodhpur (Sandhu Palace Hotel): The Blue City, is nestled in the depths of the Thar Desert, is now the second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. It 'still a major center for wool, cattle, camels and salt.

Pushkar (White House) is a small village situated on the edge of a lake and surrounded by hills. It 's a place of pilgrimage dedicated to the god Brhama, the only one in India. During the camel fair, the full moon of the month of Kartika, the village is crowded to capacity of livestock dealers, devotees and tourists. During the rest of the year remains a very pleasant and quiet. We visit the temple dedicated to the god Brhama, do a walk around the lake and a visit to the bazaar very nice.

Bund: cozy town still preserves the medieval atmosphere, thanks to the absence of hordes of tourists who prefer the most famous cities. A huge fort Rajput era overlooking the valley where the city stands at her feet an imposing building houses the famous paintings of Bundi. Several houses of blue similar to those found Jodhpur, are visible in the old part of town.

Udaipur (Poonam Haveli): "White City" was founded in 1567, is defined as "the only one in India that stimulates the imagination of poets, artists and writers." Surrounded by hills.
