Hello my name is Paola and August of 2003 I was in Bali with my boyfriend was ns. first adventure together with backpackers and forth, but I must say that it is really worth the pain. We returned home with eyes full of colors, smells, the friendliness of these places and its people.
The journey was very long and the only regret is not having stopped for a few days. in Hong Kong because we made a stop in both outward and return. We flew with Cathay Pacific is definitely not a company that I would advise, the seats were made to the gnomes, and the plane was definitely vecchiotto.
The first two nights we went to Nusa Dua, Novotel Coralia Benoa, the hotel was very nice, expensive and full of Italians in those extra holiday luxury but not let you know the reality of the place and people.
We were at JIMBARAN to watch the sunset, very romantic and then along the beach there are plenty of restaurants where you can eat fresh fish. The only way to choose what to eat is fish and watch the bargain price .... for us, we rely various trips to the many Balinese who are on the road, but there you have to be good and tireless always find a bargain what makes you the best price.
Or if you do international licenses (which I would advise) you can rent the scooters (very good speed because park) or the car or to be the bicycle.

If I come to Ubud certainly suffered choose this place for the night.
However the bungalows there are many beautiful and really, just wanting to try.
We have done Ubud from various trips in all the neighboring villages, and especially for shops, because the temples, after seeing those in Bangkok and Thailand, they have me a bit disappointed. However, if you like to go shopping to find the various crafts here you are spoiled for choice. If you like the pictures you take a trip to TEBESAYA GALLERY Peliatan to address wayan durus - Banja tebesaya. The next day we left for Lovina North of Bali in the hope to do and see some 'sea of beautiful, but unfortunately when you get at the sea was a disappointment ..... we stayed at RAMBUTAN BEACH COTTAGES in Singaraja. A very nice place with large spacious rooms and clean bathrooms with very special, fully clothed with green stones and a pink form of drawings. And with two frogs on simpaticissimi bath. It 'a family. Cost 330,000 rp to the chamber.
Here in Lovina not miss the restaurant OCTOPUS'S GARDEN serve Japanese dishes and then raw fish really fresh and delicious, then Balinese dishes, fish and spaghetti al dente if you can not do without the Italian food (but we have always chosen dishes ).

What to say ..... the scenery that you see are large, the green paddy fields are so spectacular, relaxing, seems to live within a framework so is the beauty.
