Bali. At the age of 20 years for the first time so far away from home as fully independent. Before the start how many uncertainties and questions about what would have been but in the end .... that pleasant surprise!
On this occasion I paid my total inexperience about travel but, as often happens, taking the first steps to deal with new experiences and passions, often make mistakes.
The summer was the choice fell upon Bali as prices were very reasonable and the goal seemed sufficiently exotic and interesting. Unfortunate that as a real beginner, I left everything to chance, turning completely to what the island could offer and what they absolutely would have never found.
Landed in Dempasar you shall immediately notify the magical atmosphere of the East as mystical and mysterious. In the streets of nature so lush looking almost suffocated, palm trees, colorful flowers, and rice plants of each type justify the definition of "garden of the East".
If you go to the tropics for the first time as me, expect a sea of dreams .... but this is perhaps not the most suitable. In fact over the long beaches and majestic palm trees that from ones from plunging into the sea near the scene of eden this is not complete with a crystal clear sea. In fact, the island of volcanic origin has given rise to depths of dark rock and sand that do not allow the clearness of the water. Apart from this, is all that makes Bali a truly unique place. Its real beauty is certainly in the coastal hinterland, but in his painting from soft rice, from pagodas and temples that are proliferating in the area, the plateaus rich in lakes and volcanic craters, his charm that has not yet been undermined by ' arrival of mass tourism and the mysticism and mystery that surround the scent of incense everything.
UNFORGETTABLE: The thing I really remember is to always smile and extreme willingness of the local population. For un'estraneo like me feel so accepted and almost cuddled by people so far away from my culture made me feel from the very first time at home.
TIP: if you could go back I would have some better informed on this as a destination has much to offer. 20 to Bali are perhaps too many and I would have certainly visited the twin Lobok for the sea and its fauna and some of North Sulawesi island for its tropical paradise.
I will always remember Bali colas island of Smiles.

FISH Istrice:
every night as low tide was withdrawn by the sea of 2 to 300 meters from shore, and as usual the upper reef resurgence until the following morning.
Turning to them, I noticed that this fish porcupine in 2 fingers of water looking for a way to return to the open sea but had no chance in that pit .....; I do not think that just might stand out of the long - , I took over, photo, plugs are not interested so pleasant as you might think and once I was able to approach the deepest sea I released, again assuring that the deep and they did.

This for me is just a beautiful memory, at that moment, I thought it was a good thing!
