With the right dose of excitement and curiosity depart from Terminal 2 of Malpensa Monday, 9 July 2007 at a time of Malé, capital of the our company's Airbus 330 takes off at 20.50 Livingstone, with over an hour's delay and this is not a good start for those who want to scalp to reach the longed Indian Ocean .... Our family consists of 4 people, parents and two girls of 17 and 23 years, and occasionally we like to spend a week together at sea and we dream we choose, by mutual agreement. The great desire to fly to the Maldives has been achieved thanks to an unexpected offer really everything that we seized without thinking too much: the resort managed by Hotelplan there seemed a security agent Bonolatours we confirmed the validity package and ourselves leafing through the catalog that we considered staying in quell'arcipelago, in a structure that offers only over-water bungalows, with all the services, not what they were common in spite of a period of low season (now we are four adults and when we travel we need two double rooms ....). The night flight has proved quite stressful due to a long stopover in Rome during which it was made of fuel (with passengers must sit on board ... and we do not know what this is in order) for the considerable discomfort of the seats partially reclining and much too narrow, for a total of just puntuale despite the courtesy of staff (eg. we dined at midnight / the rigatoni with meat sauce are like, just the rest). Almost sleepless night. Arrive in Male the following day, Tuesday 10 am to 10.50 local time, where to find welcome Rossana, efficient, polite, determined, affable assistant Hotelplan that brings us to the speedboat that will lead us on our island. Rossana gives us some information, then explains that the Maldives is three hours ahead of Italy and that some islands, including Bodu Huraa, add another Malè than an hour to get more light in, so we Calls to fix the clocks to be precise and in sync with the activities and services of our resort. Face 40 minutes of boat speed a little 'dazed, a few travel companion and our Giulia accuse illnesses, there is an episode of vomiting, but slowly is the ocean that kidnaps our attention also because every time you spot a' island bungalows stand out and immediately the contrast between the colors of the lagoon and surrounding sea on which we sail back to the initial curiosity about these crystal-clear water and we keep hearing about and for which we have so many expectations ... some transparency jumps eye soon! Bodu Huraa recognize the bungalows on the water, we arrivatiiii! We welcome so warm, we provide fragrant and refreshing wipes to sponge cotton, non-alcoholic drink, and accompany us to the much dreamed "over" where everyone finds their luggage .... During the brief journey we are struck by the colors of the sea and white sand ... it is also better than the catalogs! The bungalows are wonderful: very spacious, we were awarded the n.171 and n.173, tastefully furnished and functional, with air conditioning, fan, television, hairdryer, rechargeable emergency flashlight, mini-bar, the machine coffee (3.5 USD per wafer), kettle with various types of tea, and the bathroom is equally spacious, with two beautiful sinks, tub and partially outside the original shower head with a great big. It 's very clean, treated in detail in addition to the towels of different sizes, there are two bathrobes. Both the bathroom is the room you enter the beautiful veranda furnished with table, chairs, double bed ... to relax or "sun" and the ladder that allows direct access to the lagoon we feel in paradise! Let's go to lunch, the restaurant is a buffet, we assign a table and rely on us Ibrahim, the waiter who do refer. We're on vacation! Immediately the place we felt it was enchanting, suitable for those seeking tranquility, and our opinion has not changed during the stay at a distance of time from the end of the holiday. In the week to Bodu Huraa we essentially made the life of the sea: the island is small so we spent most days on the beach, swimming and playing in the sea by the incredible waters warm and clear, or the charming swimming pool with spectacular views; to rest under the umbrella or sun, or immersed in readings on comfortable hammocks that are a little 'everywhere. These "activities" we have some alternate excursion organized from outside, go out in a canoe up to the neighboring islands to snorkeling and activities led by the great biologist Massimo away from the reef Bodu Huraa or alone in our lagoon. We did two excursions, both very pleasant and interesting: the output dhoni (traditional Maldivian boat with the bow that curves upward) to spot the dolphins have also rebuilt many times in the following days was so beautiful . We were lucky because we have seen many, have jumps and stunts, like a feast for us! In addition, the precious company of Max, trained and comprehensive guide during each type of activity it has continuously enriched our knowledge about flora and fauna, particularly of the place. He has always responded to the various questions that everyone asked, demonstrating competence and a great passion for his subject. The biologist Massimo But not only was our guide during some or exits-trips for snorkeling, but also feature a reduced simpaticissimo entertainment staff discreet and valued precisely because it does not intrusive. The activity that has been further characterized as "rapporteur" for three classes of marine biology that we have followed the interesting encounters with a "diploma" finale. So you'll see that the human and professional qualities of "our" biologist certainly not the common ... Another trip for us was very interesting at Maafushi island, inhabited only by Maldivians, mostly fishermen so we visited their village , their homes, schools, mosques, shops, we made the purchases and drank coconut milk from the old man walking with the cart that was selling for 1 USD straw with milk from coconut and small 2USD largest. A heartfelt thanks to Luisa, another very good and lively entertainer of Bodu Huraa, with its explanations and advice enabled us to know local customs and practices and to make a convenient shopping with a fresh and free drinks in the shops visited (a way: we believe it is best to have the dollars and pay with those than with the euro because the change consisted in 1euro = 1 USD). Cost of excursion: 10USD and 20USD dolphins island of fishermen. We have not attended the full day, visiting a desert island, who told us wonderful, with snorkeling and lunch with more shopping trip to an island of fishermen, 45USD or have visited the capital, Malé (half day, 45USD ). Coming back to life at Bodu Huraa, we must point out the important ritual of tea of 17.30, which we played and we have often appreciated by organization, originality of the service
