A trip to the renown Boracay - The pearl of the Philippines, mundane and full of parties

Of 7000 and more 'islands that make up the Philippines, Boracay is no doubt the most famed and most popular.
is ideal for those who want to appreciate both the beauty of a wonderful sea (especially for divers) and the lively nightlife is the many cafés and restaurants are located along the main beach (White Beach).

Tourism has been growing strongly in recent years, thanks to the strong turnout Asian (Korean, Japanese in the first place) and then you can find accommodation in both hotels from luxury 5-star tracks (from 100 to 150 euros per night: pool, spa , strutura concrete) to the bungalow built in bamboo (30 euros).

Many activities you can enjoy: scuba and snorkeling in particular, but also windsurfing, parasailling, water skiing, jet skiing and the inevitable tour boat (much better than renting and a stroll on own account) .

Something very special is the constant wind that blows from the east, allowing the beach on the west side of always having a calm sea, and makes the sea east inolte a paradise for those who love kite surfing.

Even golfers can try a regular 18-hole course (par 72), while the most romantic (and lazy) will enjoy more sunsets on the beach ...

Well there are for everyone except those who are in search of unspoiled place, in which case Boracay is not really ideal, better other destinations such as Palawan (which is on the list of my future trips:)

One last tip: to go from Manila to Boracay, you can choose the airport of Caticlan or Kalibo. Caticlan Airport is a smaller (and therefore smaller planes) but much closer, if you fly to Kalibo (Airport and larger aircraft) must be added 2 hours before reaching Caticlan bus and take the ferry to Boracay. Absolutely preferable Caticlan!
