A long stay in Singapore airport after a visit in this famous City-State
You can say I was in Singapore? Physically, yes, I've set foot. But in reality I was not there. Or at least, I was only at the airport, and then one day I would return. Also because the memory that I hold is not that good. We were traveling to New Zealand, we had already made 13 hours flight from Frankfurt, waited there another 11 to Auckland. But first leg is much easier. The drama was the return, after an internal flight in NZ, then 10 hours from Auckland, then 5 hours waiting on a bench there in Singapore, then 13 hours for Germany. And we were not there yet ...
So even if the Singapore airport was new and beautiful, full of flowers, plants, ponds and even fish, I just remember I was very tired. And the next time I go in Oceania, the return will be worth stopping to sleep there. To relax and watch as the town.
