DIY tour. Grand Millennium Hotel Bangkok Sukumvit booked over the internet. Help Bangkok booked via Internet. Stay in Koh Chang booked through our guide.
Travel spending superb 500 to $ 1000 per person for 15 days between cities' and the sea.

As half of our trip, this year we chose Thailand. In Asia, it was not the first time we went after India, China, Burma, Vietnam since the time available to us was not so we opted for a fortnight in the Land of Smiles. Arrival in Bangkok at 6:00 in the morning or so, without delay, direct flight Bangkok-Rome to avoid stopovers, we spent a little 'more' but at least we have not lost so long, the Thai airline. Through our hotel, booked on the internet, the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit, we had previously agreed because 'we were to take it to arrive at the airport and the staff was waiting for us with a nice sign indicated that our last names. The hotel 'very discreet, we say beautiful, there seemed to be true for what we spent, in the background a classical music hall and enveloped everything and' very nice, including staff, impeccable, special, we also discovered the next morning breakfast and the 'first class. After a good night's sleep in the evening we went out in the Sukumvit Road, the street adjacent to our hotel, full of life, markets, skyscrapers, vendors of all kinds and even a little 'of prostitution. For dinner we went to Soi. 12, a side of Sukumvit, a very good restaurant we found on the Internet, the Cabbages and Condoms, eating Thai, fish for only 600B. in two. (No stalls, we hold ourselves to the stomach ...). The second day wake up at 6:30 in the morning because we had an appointment at 8:30 with our Italian guide, Lakis previously contacted on the Internet, a boy Tuscany (Florence / Arezzo), who lives two and a half years in Bangkok and for more 'we found out about a very good Thai. (Asian languages ??and I want my husband there as we speak both Chinese ...). When we got in the lobby of the hotel, Lakis was already there 'waiting. Our day and 'was very intense, we have seen many things and also learned many new things on cultured, not just Thai, and eventually we discovered that Thai culture has many consistencies with the Hindu culture'. Via SkyTrain (a short walk from our hotel, Asoke station) we arrived at the Pratunam district, similar to Sukumvit and from there by boat in the canals we arrived at the center of Bangkok. The first temple we visited, and 'the Mountain of Gold was a temple located above an artificial mountain, very unique compared to other temples and on top of the balcony where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Bangkok. On foot, then we arrived at the Great Swing and Wat Sutat, through a path in the middle of streets and lanes and not much caretteristiche tourism. The temple Wat Sutat and 'very charming, but more' interesting 'was the story on the big swing Brahmin rites which were carried out and since we are versed in the field, and there' was a good debate, very interesting. We always walk past the Democracy Monument, reaching the temple Wat Phra Kaeo. We were fascinated by the colors, the statues, the stories of demons and kings, queens and flying monkeys, a little 'less fascinated by the Emerald Buddha' cause we expected a bit 'more', a statue being very small and more 'set on a very high pedestal, and far away to see her. Lunch in a very good Thai restaurant, where we then asked to write a Lakis bit 'of Thai dishes for our trip. More 'interesting' was the temple Wat Pho, where there is a huge Buddha 40 meters long, fully painted in gold. By boat in the river Chao Praia, took us to Chinatown, Wat Arun temple, avoiding as we were informed earlier, the temple and 'nice to see him and photographed from the dock of the river, as it is in front. From the bus stop in Chinatown on foot we arrived at Wat Traimit where the Golden Buddha (which is not gold '...). The walking path, and 'was very special, this is not tourism, through streets and alleys where the Thai ethnic Chinese population in constant motion animated our passage. We were very tired, but we also went to Chinatown and is 'worth it, we were in an environment similar to us ... and the day' was very interesting. The evening dinner at a Thai restaurant, called "Bua" and 'in Silom Road and eat really well. Dishes not to miss: Puu Som Tam Kung mao pad kii (extremely hot ..), very good to us 'and loved it so much, and' the Pad Thai and the tempura, the Tom Yam Kung, although very hot, and a fabulous risotto Khoa Pad on kai ... bon appetit! On the third day in Bangkok we opted for a day of shopping malls you draw, the Siam Paragon, MBK, Central World, the prices of course more 'accessible at least for our budget, and' was the MBK, where we bought everything, and my husband and 'allowed the luxury of buying a fake Rolex, but done very well for 1700B. In the evening visit to the red light district of Patpong and dinner in a chic Japanese restaurant. The fourth day of departure to Koh Chang, the island of the elephant, the last SEA! Through private minibus from Bangkok we arrived in Koh Chang, until our resort. Our Resort for your holiday in Koh Chang 'was the Siam Beach Resort Lonely Beach on the beach. Koh Chang and 'a very large island, but what makes it special and unique, and' that unlike many islands in Thailand and 'covered with green plants, flowers of every kind and especially from traffic, since all around' island lies a unique way. SEA fifth day only! SEA sixth day! On the seventh day we realized that we were turning into algae and we decided to rent a scooter for 150B. and circled the island. We found many beaches and sometimes the path and 'was very uneven as some way not' even paved, but it 'that we were looking too. The White Sands beach very touristy and crowded, but very quiet and Bang Bao wild, rather than the Long Beach 'was the most' difficult to reach but it was 'well worth it' cause we were on the beach my husband, myself, and a dog who occasionally came to greet us. In the evening after a day of beach we went to a restaurant on the beach at White Sand beach, eating fresh fish and spending only 500B. into two separate spirits. SEA eighth day! SEA ninth day! The tenth day we decided to make a escurisone Koh Wai, a small island south of the island. 800B price. per person, through an agency close to our resort. Sea, snorkeling, beaches, and colorful fish, that was what we wanted for our vacation .. if you seek peace, peace, warmth, the sea, but also the city ', Thailand is the right trip! Sawadika!
