Finally in Bangkok in Thailand ... finally! Air Asia flight from HK purchased in Italy for a few euros .. and in 2 Oretta bell'aereoporto arrival at Bangkok, where you can already see the first statues of warriors .. a small appetizer of what you see in the magnificent royal palace. So is carefully to say that in Thailand, as in other parts of Southeast Asia, the first thing to learn is one thing to negotiate anything! So just got off the shuttle that took me to the city (Airport Express, taken downstairs for 150 baht = 3 € http://www.bangkokairportonline.com/node/55) begins to be wearing the typical bargaining everywhere ... taxi, tuk tuk or motorcycle .. but it is a fun to see who first moller! If you've read some story in Bangkok the first word that comes to mind and probably Bkk = traffic eheh ... it is very easy to see what a mess everywhere else, given the amount of Infitar means that there are around and the rain often tartaglia the city.

After a quick stroll in the area last night .. the first day you start destination in the Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew temple .. the course of time, personally I would have stayed all day to admire and take hundreds of photos! You can get there in any way, I chose to take away the river, surely the most economical and characteristic, as with about 20 baht to avoid the traffic and the smog from the streets and you have the chance to see even the less famous Bangkok, with piers along the Chao Phraya River and the poor areas. The view of Wat Phra Kaew is beautiful surrounded by high walls (do not forget to wear long clothes, otherwise you can rent before you go .. like it happened to me!) And all this time surrounded by giant statues of warriors, animals and Sorcerers ... a visual feast! The royal palace, next to Wat Phra Kaew, is the residence of the king, and can be visited in part, as the collection of arms and royal treasures. Released (reluctantly ..) from Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho I see, almost attached to the royal palace, very famous for the statue of Buddha lying down for only 50 baht, and already there are I also took advantage of the massage that was inside, to try the famous Thai massage: very devastating! it seems that you menano in some places, but I must say that once my body seemed as new to try at least once ... definitely!
After a quick snack (it's really too easy to find food vendors everywhere), I begin to wander the streets adiacienti at Wat Pho, one of the things I love to do more, that turn wandering aimlessly from thousands of sellers ... Buddha, people carrying goods on their heads, tuk tuks that roam daperutto every second and ask you where you want to bring small temples and beautiful ... I love this country already! I find myself in Dusit area, north of downtown, and just see the entrance to the zoo do not think twice to enter: They usually paltry ticket and lots of animals to see ... including a corner where they make you play with parrots, a skunk and snakes! Back home with the MRT, the subway sovraelevata, very comfortable and fast, even if it links only the north and east of the center and the area of the temples. Conlusa evening with the visit of Vimanmek beautiful palace built in golden teak wood and is the leading example of this type of architecture in the world, the only sin not to take photos and the Sirocco Bar, on the 67th floor of a skyscraper ^ ( highly recommended for its elegance and the view of the city) and then in Khao San Road in the company of an English girl, known in the afternoon ... the craziest and coolest way to Bangkok, exceedingly rich in local disco, restaurants and street performers .. as well as the famous trader of locusts and cockroaches!

Peipei day spent with a Thai girl who live outside Bangkok, which leads me to Chinatown before (where practically no longer seems to be in Thailand) where I try to buy some souvenirs, but given the great difficulty in choosing the best offer to the .. end I do not buy anything! The advice is to turn the city on foot in order to be able to see the reality thai, but if you have time, take a tuk tuk ... is the ultimate in spin, there are thousands of them take you anywhere and everywhere of course, negotiating Otherwise, and especially do not forget, if you go on the taxi, to turn the ignition, otherwise it will try to ask figures salty! If you're stressed out from too much traffic, it is best to take refuge in the most famous park, the Lumphini park, east of the city, accessible by MTR, among other things that I have seen a quiet calm in the alligator that wandered open pond in the park ....

Purchase a tour to Kanchanaburi, a town just outside Bangkok, is famous because the bridge over the River Kwai (maybe you will mind the war film also won seven Oscars), but not only, as find out later! 2 hour of bus and arrive .. unfortunately traffic is always present in every situation and bring us first to see the military cemetery of war, then in the museum where I ravvicinatissimo an encounter with an iguana! Then near the bridge, where you can also go on in when it is still working two days a week, usual and customary photos that are already buying the famous Vietnamese conical hat that will accompany me throughout the rest of the trip! To my astonishment, the tour continues with a beautiful train ride on the Railway of Death, a typical Thai lunch on the river Kwai and a beautiful hike to see waterfalls Saiyokno.

Purchase a Tuor to Ayutthaya to see the famous temples of the ancient Thai capital ... the city is very beautiful, and many temples are scattered everywhere, and the company of two Indian boys and a girl there we turn most Hungarian part, do not miss a great statue of Buddha lying in ruins, and quite possibly the main attraction, the head of a Buddha wedged between the roots of a tree .. beautiful! The tour ends with a visit to Bang Pa In Palace, once the summer residence of the King .. very nice and well cared for, to see for sure.

Upon returning from Cambodia I have more than half a day before returning to HK and then fly to Italy, so I'm going to see what I miss the city, starting from Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, really wonderful, especially if you happen to see it at sunrise or sunset ... the Golden Mountain, not far from the royal palace, a temple situated on a hill and a huge golden stupa and affords a beautiful view of the city, the Wat (Wat Intharaviharn) where else is a bizarre 32-meter high statue of Buddha, a trip to the giant MBK, a skyscraper almost shopping (!) and a last visit to Khao San Road, with plenty of massage with fish (pretty cool!) and a final massage Thailand Thai ... bye!
