As workers also true we deserve a little 'holiday and what is the best time to do anything more than Christmas. There are certainly facts and miss the opportunity as we go along we have booked a bungalow on the island of Kho Pha-Ngan for about ten days. Arrived December 23 in the night and we arranged the next day straight to the beach but we had to come to terms with what we repeated all those who know our destination: the bad weather. The clouds and wind were a constant and moreover, the resort is located north of the island, to say the least in the most isolated. To reach the port we waited twenty minutes of motion but to find some 'entertainment the way it stretched the other thirty minutes on both sides of steep hills to be overcome with a trabicolo burglary: not just a business.

On Christmas Day, after the usual battle with clouds and wind to gain agonists minutes of sunshine we have given a dinner in the true sense of the word-based and the dear old pizza and where if not in an Italian restaurant.

The following day on the beach of Haad Rin is consumed the event that motivated the whole island and not only the Full Moon Party and we could certainly lose it. A festival on the beach that brings together a mass of wild dancers, according to the local ten thousand people, we have not counted but certainly the glance was, to say the least robust. Local overflowing with deafening music and large boxes that spat decibels across the beach and beyond. People danced everywhere, chairs, tables and any other platform became a valuable medium for fun to the rhythm of techno music. Certainly not missing alcohol, the notorious Thai pocket (bucket with vodka or whiskey mixed with coke or Red Bull) and all the drugs necessary ... In the morning, after a whole evening spent in dancing (and doing a lot of other things) had created a surreal ... that the tide rose, the sun's rays that were already inside the head and the people who appear tired and tired, were even more "set off" the night before ... to be seen!

The following days we divided the course of diving and Italianissimo Malibu bungalows with a beautiful beach that forms a sort of small island connected to the mainland by a wooden bridge. More than once we tried to marry in this resort, as one in which it was not lived up to our expectations but this was a mission impossible due to the very high number of bookings mainly of Italian origin.

New Year we have ever spent on the beach of Haad rin again dressed in their Sunday best for the event that greeted the old year, on this occasion, the number of participants was significantly reduced although still significant units. Before dinner, however, classic year-end re-based pizza because of the delay with which we arrived at the restaurant: in any case satisfactory.
Ripresoci after the fatigue of our stay on the island was running out our plans were upset by the disaster that struck Southeast Asia, forcing a re-routes on this side of Thailand choosing these islands and Kho Tao Kho Samui as the next stages.
