... ... ... Leave Australia after a month of excitement and adventure come to Bangkok from Brisbane;
could be a simple call, but when I booked months before the intercontinental flight, no one I would have taken away from the head that the outward transfer (22 hours) I could pass it without any major problems with the euphoria of the journey from start but ... .. the return ... ... not just the thought of having to leave a place so beautiful ... .. I would have to be sitting on those uncomfortable seats for a whole day ...!
So I was really convinced of the possibility to use a stop-over to break the journey and be liable to see something new.
Having chosen the company as Thay, it was clear that I would have stayed in Thailand ... .. nothing better for me to view my incredible passion for the South-East Asia in general and that Thailand has always been a goal that I want to visit.
The weather was obviously a little, just three days, but they are enough to obtain a fairly general in this city ... in a period of not very comfortable with ... .. quell'umidità!
In fact, I remain convinced that was a good choice to interrupt the long journey home ... .. but coming from Australia, so that climate cool and dry, the sky is blue and kept clean by un'arietta constant, l ' impact with the hood of humidity and sweltering heat that was certainly not exciting.
I was really from God to my arrival on Thai territory .... I came home a few days later reduced as a rag assaulted by a cold and a terrible sore throat.
Already .... .. Throat ... the most dramatic of Bangkok and most Asian cities, is the smog.
Walking on the street is not very smooth and long breath becomes a 'wheezing and if we combine all this to the usual moisture and heat infernal, the only remedy was to seek refuge somewhere Shopping Center and go ... .. go to air conditioning go!
Inevitably some flu symptoms was inevitable.
Returning to the city, I thought it was very chaotic, but it really interesting;
the architectural and historical certainly not lacking and the mysticism and sanctity of the temples make the unmistakable look of this metropolis.
With very little time available was not that being able to walk and walk so visit the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, the mountain of gold, the market for amulets, patong market, khao san and mini market on the Chao river excursion Phraya river.
The thing that always leaves your mouth open when you visit the south-east Asia is the ultimate convenience of life, here everything is very cheap indeed.
Accommodation, meals, transportation, and of course traditional Thai massage (I've done rock / tortured for several hours ....) Are available to everyone, the more negative note concerns the relationship with the people.
If we exclude the myriad of students that wander the city, that you welcome or remain indifferent to all others .... Taxis, tuk tuk drivers and procurers of business of various kinds,
always try to establish a dialogue with you then start to offer any kind of business / opportunity / opportunities or transportation will be exchanged for notes of street vendors and there is no interest for the person.
Of course, this could be a reality only restricted to Bangkok, maybe in the rest of Thailand things change .... I hope to find out soon!
A month of my exact departure from Bologna was finally time to go
at home, for the first time for such a long time away ... .... was a positive experience, unique and unforgettable experience ... ... in short, to be repeated as soon as possible!
