Aruba
WHITE BEACHES dream for MONTHS ...

Period: 26 March / 2 April 2005
Starring: Mom Dad, Selene, Sarah and Antonio
When we decided that for the Holy Easter we would have gone to the sea .. One of my many dreams was true, to convince all my family that the 11-hour flight would not have been unnecessary, because a place like this is just dreaming.
Departure at 1045 from Linate airport with KLM good company will take us to Amsterdam and then direct the island best known of the Netherlands Antilles: Aruba.
With timeshare, we chose the Caribbean Palm Village is not on the sea, but sull'entroterra North .. The arrangement shown is excellent, because we had an all-inclusive but our kitchen in the apartment!

Aruba, is located some thirty kilometers north of the Venezuelan coast, and is rightly regarded as the "pearl" of the Lesser Antilles.
Aruba, one happy Island, is the slogan that appears in all the license plates of all the people we like to welcome you in their language BON BINI Aruba like the stamp that you receive the passport on arrival at customs ..
For a long strip of land thirty kilometers wide and up to six, the island has much to offer ... just rent a jeep, which is essential to achieve the most scenic part of the north, and go along the coast to see how, just let l 'area where focused tourism development, the island is mostly wilderness.
The first curiosity is that the trees here called divi divi, that because of trade winds that blow constantly take strange forms so that they look like giant bonsai.
The beautiful waters of Eagle Beach, Palm Beach .. we did fall in love they are along the coast of "a thousand Resort while Coco Beach and Baby Beach are on the opposite side (San Nicolas) all beautiful to be envied throughout the world .. marine ..
The water colors are beautiful, it is difficult even to describe it comes from the green emerald all'azzurro .. with a tongue of fine white beach a show ..
Oranjestad, the capital, suffers a lot of Spanish and Dutch settlers and indigenous peoples, who have influenced the habits and homes of the area.
In town, we can admire the monument dedicated to the Queen of Holland Winhelmina Willem III and the ancient lighthouse Toren, walking through the various stalls and souvenir shops, people are very friendly and kind, always ready to give you a smile.
The iguanas that are camouflaged in the trees are beautiful ...
Another important step is the factory dell'aloe Aruba fact has made the production part of the history of Aruba for many years. guided tour inside the factory balsamo dell'aloe Aruba and see the production process first-hand by dell'aloe sheet to finished lotions and skimmed.
Elsewhere De Olde Molen this old windmill in the first place was built in Holland in 1804 and then was sent to the party on the side of Aruba and was rebuilt in 1960. Now features a moderate-rated restaurant that specializes in Continental dining.
We can not see the many attractions .. then start from California Lighthouse, a huge white light that indicates the beginning of the north coast. We continue our tour and we see that the landscape is completely different from the other coast ... no more luxury resorts and restaurants anything .. only so much wild vegetation and rocks of volcanic origin blacks ... Every corner of the coast is more beautiful .. every point it seems interesting for our photo.
Just a few miles and find the little Church Alto Vista Chapel .. It is very nice, shame that we can not find a candle is not lit, but the important thing is to pray.
We most of the road within the 'Arikok National Park, a jewel made of unusual rock formations, giant cactus, the remains of Indian settlements, asphalt inesistente, fortunately, we rented a 4x4 jeep is really the only way to visit' land within this fantastic island.
The journey that we are always on the coast and gusts of wind that crashed violently on the rocks of volcanic origin, reaching impressive heights are a little scared but at the same time the views of the sea are unforgettable.
We arrive at the Natural Bridge "natural bridge" which is half of the north is certainly the most photographed of the island. This is an arc of land along more than thirty meters long, which rises to almost ten meters above the waves .. emotion that sit above them .. beautiful!
Sara decides to do a tour on horseback to the coast ... come up to Natural Pool (for fear that jeep on the second day we arrived because the soil was sincerely very impercorribile .. imagined without a jeep ..)
The rest of the family including me, opting instead for Sunset Cruise .. on board a beautiful catamaran, shame over a glass of coca cola, we received no other music ... People ... The white gulls flying around us and then how could we forget that sunset ...

Aruba will always be in our best memories. Saturday, April 2'05 last day the last photo. What can we say we want to thank all the people who made us feel good and gave us so many smiles!
With timeshare, we chose the Caribbean Palm Village is not on the sea, but sull'entroterra North .. The arrangement shown is excellent, because we had an all-inclusive but our kitchen in the apartment!
We recommend 2 restaurants & TEXAS DU BRASIL AMAZONIA!
A little expensive .. but who eats meat is tasty with pineapple baked bananas and sweet! that favors ... P.S.: tears ... WET MY FACE .. you return home ... trafficking in Milan ..
Thanks Mom and Dad for giving permission to live together this unforgettable island.
