We started on 18.07.2007 with Blue Panorama direct from Milan to Freeport, flight exceptional service aboard continuous and cordial, punctuality of flight like never found so far.
Even Theorem Tour with whom we traveled deserves a positive vote because even if he anticipated the flight departure by one day, warning two days before, he kept giving us the return date, then, a day stay longer.
Arrived at the Viva Fortuna I must say that initially everything seems below average, rooms, food, hotel, beach and even the sea itself facing the village, but only takes one, two days to figure out that it is there in the Bahamas for another and what you need it is a few hundred meters from the village on the left, just because a walk from the beach itself for about twenty minutes on foot to be in paradise, or at least what we can consider this. Clear sea, white sand as depth, low water mark for the first hours of the morning creating a natural lagoon film. That's going back to the village and in the room everything seems more proportionate, more natural, more just. Perhaps a mega ultra-luxury hotel right there not to blame. A village just like the Viva Fortuna is fine. Cleaning a little 'to all counts a lot, is there. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen changed the same, except the sheets that we did not understand what all were replaced. The food is good and some dishes are really excellent as the fish. The choice however is very large especially at lunch. A drawback of the restaurants to the charter, in the evening, is given by the reservations, I would advise you to book as soon as possible upon your arrival. The Italian restaurant La Trattoria "was still ruined by a fire and then closed, but was replaced by a restaurant" tent "next to the pool, problematic when it rains. The food is good both here and in the Asian, not to be confused with a Chinese restaurant because the kitchen is a mix between European and Asian. The kiosk on the beach is great for snacks during the hours of the sea but the amount of flies and bees will impress a little ', then a sandwich in the bank closed more than a hot dog or hamburger bun baked fresh but with so many objects that are buzzing around. The animation is quite alive and not annoying, so many free games with prizes and evening shows nice and well cared for. There is also a place for a nightclub but much more suitable for children no bigger than 25 years, where among a cocktail and another are supplied snacks and pizza. Finally we did not do any organized excursions, as our only visit the beach you want publicity of Bilboa, has not had much success from those who have anticipated the visit did not consider the Council explains that the lagoon had not described above nothing to envy, indeed! For the rest I do not move from the village, perhaps a detour to Port Lucaya for a souvenir stand in some (or a few bottles of liquor that are very cheap) or a play at the casino, but each movement with taxi costs $ 24 A / R, not worth it, maybe you better take a bike and experience the island for much deserted.
