Which islands shall we choose this year?? Cayman Islands, of course...
Here we are dear friends, together again after a year off, we are ready to help you experience a new unforgettable experience!
As always thanks to our timeshare inseparable choose our holidays ... we can choose from nearly all the world! for now there is the possibility to stay in the Maldives and Mauritius to the Seychelles ... ... but there will be time and opportunity to find a good time, always on the internet of course, to go to certain places ....
Finally we stop at October 09 a week in the Cayman Islands in January 2010 from 2 - 9 perfect! and another paradise ... Tax!
At this point we have to find a flight and join a city!
The choice is also this year in New York so we have time to sample some more of the Big Apple ... and relive those emotions already experienced ....

In the morning with a little 'of melancholy settle our luggage and after leaving the hotel we head to JFK airport. Think 30 minutes of rental with driver booked directly from the hotel saw the heavy snow last night's $ 40. Super Honest! ... .. Well for us today is a great day! Climb aboard the Cayman Company Cayman Airways ... here we come!!
The flight aboard Cayman Airways quiet and runs like all the Caribbean islands for the last 10 minutes of flying we pass them all through my nose stuck to the window to watch the show below us ... crystal colors .. we can not wait to land. Arrived in the small airport in George Town the temperature is already significantly different.
We pick the car booked at the local company from Italy Andy's Car of other very much cheaper traditional companies.

About 15 minutes drive from the airport and 'in front of our Resort Ramada.
The apartment is always chosen to timeshare is nothing short of immense. Even two inputs, 2 double beds, 1 sofa bed, 2 bathrooms with Jacuzzi, kitchen with every conceivable comfort, washer and dryer ... what you ask for? We have a house for 6 but we enjoy in two!
After a refreshing shower we head towards the first supermarket chain to stock owned by Foster's Food and immediately buy Barilla spaghetti and sauce. For us Italians is the maximum after spending the day in New York where the burger is king ...
Very early we get up and officially begin our holiday on the island. First, a walk on the bank to make contact with the white sand and tropical water. The Seven Mile, 'the main beach and the largest of all
Grand Cayman. Here are located all the most luxurious and most important island. Along the main road we stop at West Bay Road Beach Cementary the beach. The arrival on the beach there is a little 'traumatic as it has access only by passing through a graveyard ... you ... you got it from colorful flowers and not' just the best ... but it is a custom in the whole island ...

Around lunch time we continue north to North West Point Road. Here you can 'find a kind of reserve with various species of turtles on Turtle Farm.
Lunch at the Macabuca, a diving center on the island with very famous inside a kiosk and a restaurant facing the sea. And 'here that we discover with pleasure the Mahi Mahi, a typical Caribbean dish made of fish tender lightly grilled, salad, tomatoes and french fries ... delicious!
We continue our journey and we continue to climb.
In this area live the true inhabitants of the island, in fact there is no trace of luxury hotels, small but brightly colored houses with typical Caribbean.
Along the main road passing in front of a very special post office called Hell Post Office ... of course you can see it from the face of a demon representing on the sign. We return to George Town in the early afternoon where the tourists are back on the cruise ship.
This 'island' stage of many of the most popular Caribbean cruise shipping companies. Around 9 am the city center located near the port and 'got acquitted of tourists who descend from ships. The duty free shops are attacked, and for lovers of the sea ... they can always make day trips.
Everything ends at around 16 when they return to the ship ready to sail. Almost 18 around the city and the shops are almost deserted.
Continuing south we stop at a beach which is also very famous and characteristic, we are talking about Smith's Cove.
Too bad really because the sea bottom gently shaken and the vegetation would have been truly capture ... the sun was nearing sunset, so it is time for romance .. on the public beach is seven miles ... wonderful to see the sun set, this huge red ball that seems to disappear into the water creating a play of colors between sky and water really fantastic!.

The weather does not promise anything new so do not waste time and head to the east of the island, more 'specifically decide to visit the Botanic Park.
It 'was officially opened by the Queen in 1994. Inside the park you can see orchids, which bloom from late May to late June, iguanas, parrots and other birds. The Mastic Trail near the trail, you can wander into the forest that was used by early settlers to get the timber.
The park is located halfway between the eastern part of North Sound and the east coast, about a twenty minute drive from George Town.
Along the way we stop to admire the Lighthouse (lighthouse) and beach Beach Bay.

There are many varieties of plants, manicured gardens, ponds, manicured natural, all beautiful except for what was to be the attraction of the park. Here in fact there are many color blue iguanas.
Too bad that the iguanas with no sun will ever see it ...? continue north east direction and after a stop in Old Man Bay we stop for lunch at Kaibo Beach. A truly lovely place shame that the sky was almost black, and rain threatened to make matters worse ... when we arrive in the nearby Rum Point is also a wind up ... very cool so we decided to go back to our apartment, about one hour of car and drove.

Even at the start of the day, the time is not 'just the maximum. We head to Georgetown, this morning, literally overrun with tourists. Even moored off you can see 3 Cruise Ships. Let's take a tour of the shops in order to spend some 'time waiting for the rays of light were piercing and swept away the
clouds. So it happens to the lunch hour, do not hesitate for even a minute and we are just soaking up the sun at nearby Smith's Cove. Even a lunch so that we jump back from the beach toward the 16 we stopped at Public Beach at Calico Jack's for a bite.
Stringary City with Captain Marvin's
We are about to experience certainly the best day of the entire vacation. First time is on our side, there is not even a cloud to pay.

10 hours from the Bay is part of
Grand Cayman for the Stingary City.
On board we have a very good boat about 20 people including crew and us tourists. The first stop we make it after about 10 minutes before departure. We snorkel.
At the second stop after another 10 minutes by boat you can only see the starfish, so that both I think that Selene was wrong ... but the kind of tour stops is exhilarating 3
Virtually below us the impossible ... starfish, coral and fish and fantastic races famossissime calls precisely stingray.
... All of a sudden it got even a manta (eagle ray) characteristic of its long tail very, very dangerous. He turned around the boat all the time in which we were still without harm to anyone. Meanwhile on board was preparing to eat off again ... excited and we stop at a point where the water and 'low and all the tourists can feel your feet comfortably, but not until you are assaulted by a myriad of races, all means to play and have fun. The photographs are going crazy ... impossible to be right in the open sea and be in a "pool" colored crystal and surrounded by many races ... that's cool!
Captain Marvin's would recommend it to everyone! It '... beautiful and takes its name from Mr. Marvin's captain of a fishing vessel that is said many years ago discovered this place full of their own races.
After the show we go ashore for lunch at Kaibo Beach ... lots of fish and pasta prepared and spiced by the crew during our snorkel. Around 16 we return home ... just like diving, snorkeling also do much more than a little tired. Like last night on the island we do not miss anything and we have dinner at the Marriot hotel where the evening is a multinational with a rich buffet of international dishes at the beach and strictly barefoot ... you eat!

You wake up under a beating rain ... even the weather was sad for our departure.
We place your bags and head to the airport, where after the canons controls 13e30 we embark on a U.S. Airways flight to Boston ... and then Lufthansa to Zurich and Milan at the end.
Let's go back to the cold ... but the sensations experienced this week can never be erased from our minds and our hearts.
Although this holiday has been lived to the best and I recommend if you come to this island as a holiday or as part of cruise you can not leave if you have visited before with Stingary City.
