Santo Domingo : Here we come!

Departure from Milan, and after a tour absurd (London - Miami - SantoDomingo) landed in the Dominican capital.
From Italy we booked the flight through friends and a flat 18-30 in Punta Cana.
So I just arrived at the airport and my friend Antonello book a hotel.
Lead us to Boca Chica hotel Milanello, but the owner says it is prepared to give us the room where we're at least a week, at this point refuse and go around, at Sans soucis.
The room is decent $ 25 a night, there system and give you a ride.
The country is a trap for tourists, women are easy and good for little kids persecute us in every street corner.
We make a quick trip to the beach and it is here that I see for the first time the Caribbean meal. "The sand is white, fine and fresh as if it was flour, and the beach is full of coconut trees and the landscape is from the Caribbean.

Arrival in Punta Cana

Discovering Popeye

Day to enjoy the beautiful beach and crystal clear Caribbean Sea. It 'just like in the postcards, a true paradise.
We join the tourists in the village "the Carabela" and enjoy all the comforts of the resort, so the animators know us and treat us as if we were in the village.
From our apartment from the village Popeye arrives at a kiosk that will become our home.

The bartender said "Flaco" will be our shadow for most of the holiday and then there is mother Teresa, Jahaira and Anna teach us to dance.
In the evening we dine at the Captain Cook restaurant with tables on the beach, where we peseranno fish still alive and cooking in front of us. Lobster and shrimp at will!

Vicentini stories

The day passed in complete relaxation between the beach and some dancing to the Caribbean Popeye.
The evening dinner at another restaurant Cortecito. Everything is a bit quiet in the evening and trying to depress us are the stories of two Italians who live in our palazzina. They say that if you want to go dancing in clubs in the villages, girls are all prostitutes and the night life does not exist.

Dominican style

I Antonello there and demoralized. The days always go in company with Popeye, the Flaco us to go dancing with him in the evening and so we accept.
In the evening we go by taxi in a kind of dance floor where they're just Dominicans. That cool, even if the locale is not the maximum one can admire the style of living with a Dominican who fria (freezing beer) and a little merengue, seems to have conquered the world.

Cocco bello!

In the village take part all'aperitivo coconut. The Camel

The Flaco us to experience a new locale, called Camello.

Long life to Flaco

After the dinner we join our friends at Camello.

Good bye night with Vicentini

The boys start the day in Vicenza and then organize an evening farewell. Dinner at the Beach Cortecito and then everyone danced to Mangu, the most beautiful nightclub in the area. Here we get girls in New York that we will die of laughter with their Sicilian-American accent.

La Romana

By Flaco you decide to go to La Romana. To take the guagua in about 90 minutes a serem destination. With motochocio we go to sea in a place completely unknown to tourists. Female sexual tourism

It 'time to leave this enchanted place.
The Flaco, Bigote, Lento, Xavier, Alba, Jadis, Tonino, Anna, Jahaira,
i Vicenza, the Americans and many other people have filled our days of happiness, and this place enchanted by the rhythms slow and bachata scanned by us will remain in heart forever.
We all reluctantly left for the capital. Tonino gave us the address of a friend who has a hotel in the center and it is them that we go.
The capital is very different from Punta Cana. First is more modern and people are less friendly.

The colonial zone
