The trip was all through a tour operator and therefore not do it yourself. We took a transference from the airport of Santo Domingo that has brought us to the village we selected the Viva Dominicus ...
I must say from the village I was not very happy, there was a lot of people maybe too much and the hotel staff was not fully able to handle the situation this way:
there were so many chairs on the beach that was very difficult even to take a walk
clean bar glasses in the open very often missing etc etc ... kids animation on the other hand I must say were very good, even if we do not get involved much mum's evening shows were really nice ...
Santo Domingo's landscapes are exceptional, the sea is really a crazy thing but the poverty is so great and you had to be afraid to walk around alone outside the tourist facility.
I'm happy to have been there but for the first time I say that is not a place where I'd come back.
