Seven days of tropical sun, enchanted sea, merengue and relax .... Although the all-inclusive accommodation is a rarity rather than a suit on these screens, I must say that traveling with two angels 2 years, the choice was apt! ! The undersigned, Benny, Mauro and Gaia (the super mom) and the two angels Thu and Ceci .... landing on the island of Hispaniola, in the richest, most inconstant and unstable elbow on that green blue sea `s kissing Atlantic and pinches the Caribbean ...
PUNTA CANA (hoary in Italian) opens its wings of blue and green, hugging a late January evening, an airport with huge wooden paddles flapping greets us after a long journey from Madrid. At the unmistakable sound of its popular merengue, we are transported by bus to the huge resorts, nestled in a green sparkling, all obviously prepared, ready, right and on time. There are great stress, if we exclude some initial hitches in the magic Carabela Bavaro Hotel ... hated her reception is a must for all of us, marked by a green bracelet that makes us "belonging" to one lineage are not always well loved by natives of the place, but alas it is so and so it happens all over the world.
Seven million Christians and not just on this part of the island, discovered in 1492 by Messer Colombia, a nation destroyed by the findings, a `human evolution played and defeated by the strong powers of Catholicism and the New World could not resist, and which can not stop even today. One million of these have already raised the heel and is gone in the beloved U.S., others scattered in Spain and Canada ...
Here we live well, we who come to spend the winter .... but the Dominicans can not always direl the same thing ... but obviously this is seen and only occurs for those who, like us, brings out the roasted nose by this merciless sun, outside the gates of secure and prosperous Resort.
Just a glance to notice the tin houses, the flooding that move people and land, the bad guys armed with drug, not only of poverty on which the money of the rich do not score and is not diluted, though it comes much too sometimes ...
But the problems of an unjust and bloody history, made up of slaves and sugar worked and suffering among the churches erected as a symbol domain are no longer in front of a sun, sea and rhythms that the Caribbean advertised but which are real, true and surprisingly pleasant.
Seven days on this island in part, to soak up the sun, escaping from a colorless, cold and tiring, dangling your legs into the turquoise waters of the sea by a still photograph and be photographed, to be admired until exhaustion, strong colors, but over all, perfume, sweet, delicate and charming.
`An elegant and seductive fragrance, made of color and rainbows, rain, uncontrolled fantastic morning breeze, the` flavor of fresh coconut, a tasty fruit, a strong rum and delicious, the taste of a country with big problems, but inseparable from the natural beauty.
The Angels had fun and that's the best thing ... to see them play in the sand and watch them laughing in the sun is a great hope that all children should be able to prove once and Dominicans in life.
Dominican Rep. beautiful, beautiful holiday.
Thanks

Andrea
