I can not explain what I feel every time I come to Viva Dominicus ... just thinking about the next time
I'll come back (the fourth!) can overcome the nostalgia that attacks me when I return in Italy and for all those months that I spend here.
I just have a song, a Bach, a merengue, to be able to see me in front of that landscape, the green of palm trees that surround the beautiful turquoise sea, to rethink the smile of people, those who work in the village, the animators, the gardeners, maids, sellers of diamonds on the beach, of all those who through their hard work and their infinite sympathy and kindness help to make more and unforgettable vacation in this place ...
Perhaps there has never been who can not understand, maybe it all seems too much, think I will be as one of the many complexes in the world ... and yet for which there was, perhaps not for everyone but I think for many, each time is different and leaves you many happy memories, memories of a magical atmosphere, consisting of landscapes, music and spontaneity in relationships with people, remember that you remain in my heart a whole year,
warming when it's cold here and there's fog, memories that make you wait and hopefully we can return soon and maybe for longer ...
Maybe one day I'll go and live in Bayahibe, who knows, maybe close to markets where I met so many nice people and maybe when you want to have a luxury will come in for a day at the Viva Dominicus, as do the few hours that Dominicans can afford it ... or maybe it will remain only a dream and I will continue to spend the holidays alone, whenever I can ... maybe giving up some gifts and so many unnecessary purchases in Italy ...
Now it's already been written about the village, on the organization, hiking, on the soul, so rather than repeat the usual things, I add only one: Go on, try to enjoy the holiday altogether, seeing beautiful places, but definitely trying to talk to them, both inside and outside the village, try to get infected by their desire to live with little money but with such sympathy and joy, perhaps it is true that smile at life a little 'helps to overcome many difficulties. ... ..
But go there with the right spirit, not to criticize everything and always find what's wrong and often are just stupid things that seem huge accustomed to our standards and our hectic lifestyles and exaggerated, but to observe and think about another way of live, they certainly poor, but simple, spontaneous and gaiety which infects.
And if at the end of the holiday when the plane climbs and returned to Italy, you die of nostalgia .... I warned you! But you can always come back ... for little or ... para siempre!
Muchos Besos!
