15/03/08. He leaves for Mexico. I'm excited, it's an important trip, a country full of history, finds a particularly famous and recognized as a modern 7 wonders of the world! We depart from Malpensa with Volare. The trip I booked on the internet with Karisma. After 12 hours of flight + airport in Havana to Cancun we arrive where we waiting for transport to the village Barcelo Maya Beach which is located 25 km south of Playa. When we come to the village is left speechless, I said that was fine but that was so wonderful! The Barceló consists of 5 villages, one inside the other, all linked together. As soon as we bring the mythical bracelet on the wrist for the All Inclusive we understand that our vacation is really starting! (How many mojiti sipped while on stools in the water at the pool bar). The beach is beautiful, long and wide and the Caribbean Sea, boys, what a show! It 'my first Caribe!. The impact of the village environment is virtually nil, the beach bars have thatched roofs and are mixed with palm trees. On the beach there are the legions of umbrellas in the other villages but only the palm trees to shade and sun beds. The rooms are very large bed with a 3 squares. Are equipped and furnished to the smallest detail. The main restaurant is buffet style then there are 2 restaurants, Mexican and Spanish and several restaurants on the beach for lunch. Many swimming pools, 2 bars water, jacuzzi, all non-motorized activities including ... in short we were fabulous. But our time we have not spent it all in the village! The first night we went to see Playa. We took the taper collective, which loads any person on the street until complete filling. The country is nice, very touristy, concentrated on a single street, full of local shops. The 2nd day we went to Tulum always taper the collective. We visited the ruins, very beautiful. Tulum is the peculiarity of his position on the sea. Castillo is just overlooking the Caribbean. The best vantage point is on the side of the Castillo, hence the most famous view of Tulum, the profile of the pyramid with the beautiful beach below and the stunning colors of the Caribbean! A spectacle of incomparable beauty. Stairs lead down to the beach. On duty a swim in crystal clear waters and waviness this corner of paradise! We go back and continue the visit of the ruins. Tulum is not owned by the state but I think many of iguanas that inhabit it. How much! And beautiful! Were the first that I saw iguanas ... strange animals, seem prehistoric, entirely harmless. Take a thousand pictures of rite of iguanas, we decided to go in the famous beach of Playa Paraiso. We reached on foot from the exit of the ruins will be about 1 Km Beautiful white beach with a sea of beautiful colors! We dined in the restaurant (El Paraiso) on the beach with a good dish of prawns. Afternoon of relaper and walking while admiring the wonder of this beach. The next morning we went to visit a cenote. In Mexico, the rivers flow beneath the ground, the ground above the landslide in some places exposing the water and form these freshwater pools called cenotes. The water is turquoise and very clear. We visited the park Kantun-Chi that we reached in 15 minutes walk from our village. Inside there are several cenote, which can be found without a guide, we follow a path in the first swim in the cenote foresta.Il never forget. ... Strange the feeling you feel when you swim in these fresh transparent waters ... the peculiar smell that makes the water environment that surrounds the mysterious! A nice experience. Then comes the most anticipated days, a visit to Chichen Itza. E 'on 20/03/08. We chose this date to be able to see over the site also the phenomenon that during the equinox can be seen here at Chichen. In the Kukulcan pyramid called El Castillo, or between 20 and 21 March or between 21 and 22 September the sun in the morning or the evening light playing on the steps of the pyramid like a snake. Unfortunately, we were lucky that day because the sky was covered with clouds and decided not to filter out even a ray of sunshine so that the phenomenon has remained only in our imagination. Patience, after all what really interested me was to see the pyramid, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The first thing you see coming from the visitor center is she who stands proud in its 25 meters high, is wonderful. The pyramid represents a Mayan calendar. Brilliant if you think about how it was built. The sum of step 4 of the stairs at the top of the platform is more like 365 days a year. Each of its 9 levels were divided in two by wide terraces, creating 18 uniforms, a symbol of the months 18 to 20 days of the Maya. We also think that gave guidance to ensure that the effect is the phenomenon of the equinox. We believe that is one of the 7 wonders ... but other than that is just beautiful outside. The pyramid, like the other buildings are closed to the public, great shame. Within the site there is also the field for the game of pelota (ball which is the largest in Mexico. The Maya gave great importance to this game and whoever wins it was sacrificed to the gods. Then there's the observatory called the Caracol, very good. The windows of the dome are aligned with the position of certain stars at certain dates. There is also a cenote with a diameter of 60 meters deep 35. In this cenote were found human remains and it is assumed that you throw people to sacrifice to the gods, especially stunted. Within the site there are lots of artisans selling their items at very affordable prices (i + low) and have wonderful things. On the way back to Playa is a small town in colonial style called Valladolid quite famous. Personally, I liked very much. The trip was organized by the tour operator that Chichen is 3.5 hours drive from Playa and we had no desire to rent a car (€ 65 with lunch and guide Italian site). Then we went to see the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an's third-largest in Mexico (the other 2 are in Baja California). You reach the fishing village of Punta Allen (2 hours) where we guests of a family for dinner. From the beach we go up in motor boats visiting the reserve where they live dolphins, turtles, starfish. You enter the mangrove forest habitats of frigates at sea, a really incredible environment in the midst of these lanes so narrow that allow mangroves to shut arc and form a tunnel in the middle of which pass our spears. ... Unforgettable. Then we reached the pools where we took a bath in clear water and once again the Caribbean Sea was the star of the holiday. Then we did snorkeling near the barrier. On his return the family had prepared us an amazing paella! The beach of Punta Allen is a stunning beauty, wild and cartolina.La perhaps the most beautiful I've seen in recent days. Mexican families taking advantage of the Easter leave the city to pass the 3 days at sea. they camp with their tents, their entire family, children, children and dogs. All who play on the beach with a carefree!'d be hours watch them. Mexico has given me so many emotions, do not forget? The colors, the pyramid of Chichen and Punta Allen.
