Today is Christmas. The tradition wants me to stay home to devote to generous meals instead of custom emiliana.Noi this Christmas we spend on a Delta Airlines plane, crossing the Atlantic to stop in Atlanta and arrive in Panama City after 15 hours of flight ( +4 stop in Atlanta to change planes are 19 hours). Why Panama? Meanwhile, because our desire to sea is incurable and Panama there are even two oceans. Then, because we know from our research that there is still abundant wildlife, as well as a variety of landscapes. And lastly but not least, is a destination untouched by mass tourism. Italians snub still here, the better. There is even a guide in Italian: Lonely Planet, our Bible, is in English. No problem mode, we translated. Amazon we found a map in scale 1:480.000 of International Travel Maps: plastic, stain-resistant, detailed, a purchase true bull's eye. Landed at Panama City that is now night. Great thought that Internet booking Italy hotel near the airport, which is even closer than we thought: 2 minutes by taxi. And tomorrow we're going to take our car waiting for us at the airport.
