A great bike trip along the Danube river from Linz to Vienna. Trip to Austria
This trip made with my father (Luciano - called "John") was amazing. for those who like us love to travel and cycling, is really the best. arrived in Vienna with direct flight from Rome, (purchased for 99 euros a / r on the internet), we then reached by train in just under 2 hours, Linz, starting point of our tour with final destination the Austrian capital Vienna. during the train ride, the weather does not bode well, but luckily the rain has never ruined our plans. from the station we reached our hotel and then we headed straight for the store to pick up our rental bikes, and so 'once by bicycle, parade lap of 20 km and ready for the next day with Ardagger destination. see charming villages where the cyclist is respected, unlike in our country, is really exciting. pedal without having to worry about some deficient that we could bring down is the most 'beautiful. the scenery you pass through are amazing, many important places to be found along the river Danube such as Mauthausen (concentration camp), Melk (great cathedral), Krems, Tulln (city of Roman origin), and Vienna (the capital of Austria). Our day started at 9:00 and ended with the arrival at the hotel at about 17:30, many hours and many miles 90 / 100 a day, but time flies in these charming places. too many stops during the day, partly because the views that opened before us were the subject of many of our photos. the last miles to Vienna were fantastic, we had understood to have made a large firm. Even before arriving in the city center of Vienna has already thought of all the way done and all the places seen, they wanted to go back in time, but this is not so possibbile already thought of a new adventure, perhaps more 'days maybe in Ireland ... knows?. . . Certainly, that Austria is very beautiful, made to measure for cyclist. I recommend everyone go there, we are going around Europe, but when possible, return to this land possibly to continue the path along the Danube to Budapest. a greeting by travelers and sports Claudio Luciano Austria (12 September to 16 September 2007)
