An adventurous journey to Austria on board of my Fiat 126, by Daniele Somenzi
Austria with the Fiat 126
With Sergio, we start here from Italy to the chapel of sleep a night where Casalmaggiore grandparents John and Teresa, then go to where the Brenner pass to November with freezing cold and snow perterra.
It is already dark and we go to Austria, and slowly all the way down to Insbruk, then go on the motorway towards Vienna, but we are tired and decide to stop, not having changed the local currency, however, did not know how to pay the hotel then we decide to sleep in car seats, throwing down two minutes of small cars. We see, however, that the roadside cars constantly passing keep us awake so we move on the edge of the famous Mathausen crematorium of the Jews, and here with the peace we sleep, even if the place is historically not the best.
The next day we visit the dismal place and then continue to the border with Hungary to reach Romania.
