My Tour in this country, where I was already visiting Sofia years earlier (see "raid in Sofia) is part of a transfer from Greece to Romania.
Arrived in Bulgaria from the Greek border made the first stop shortly after to visit the Monastery of Rila, very nice and nestled in a Pedemontano. The monastery is surrounded by alpine peaks, reached by a mountain stream and wrapped in the silence of prayer and meditation. Also it is very interesting architecturally with its arches, the polychromatic and a large inner courtyard, but is mainly the environment around him that makes him a unique place. Satisfied by this visit continues towards the north with my Fiat Tipo and gave a lift to two young hitchhiker who went in my direction. With them I stopped to Veliko Tarnovo, the ancient medieval city walls, cobbled streets, ancient houses and a fortress. The streets of Old Town are all salts and a good come down because the city is on a hill. The city is nice but I go back slightly to the south to bring the hitchhiker left a Gabrovo where the girls encounter a young man with whom I converse. It 'very difficult to understand in Bulgaria where they speak a Slavic language and is written in Cyrillic but this guy knows a little Spanish, and this gives us the opportunity for dialogue. The nature leads me to his house, a house of wood surrounded by a garden, where I sleep. The next morning as we provide guidance and leads me to see on a hill near an open-air ethnographic museum where they were re-mounted houses dismantled from all over the country. Back to Gabrovo and after having greeted the occasional friend gentilissimo continue to the north. Shortly after leaving Bulgaria crossing the "bridge of friendship" that crosses the Danube and into Romania.
