A week in Prague
Ferny Forner

May 13: it's raining, take the tram along the river to go to Vysehrad.
Known that public transport in Prague are good, tram, bus and metro, go very well and bring in all parts of the city, but the tickets, especially those with a validity of one or more days are not easy to find points of sale generally have only ticket valid 20 minutes or 5 stops.
Also known that the tram moving at very high speeds, even when traveling on non-protected lanes, few even dare to vehicles passing on the tracks.
Arrive at the fortress of the castle, but it rains too much, back, and always by tram, which runs on the river we decide to go to a suburb to see how to live in Prague,
also because the city that we saw there seems too orderly, well-maintained facades, no graffiti on walls, buses and trams always polishes, cleaners at all hours (including night) never saw paper on the floor, everything did not seem real.
But even the periphery there appeared well cared for, of course, the buildings were not the nineteenth but also in suburban streets clean and orderly traffic.
Let us return to Charles Bridge, and take a ride on the river, then lunch in a restaurant located nearby.
In the afternoon we visit the typical surroundings that lead to the Prague Castle, Mala Strana Square, the Via Nerudova the eighteenth century church of S. Nicola.
In the evening dinner at the brewery Novomestsky pivovar, much frequented by tourists, on the ground floor the large hall, where they play the accordion, and diners are songs (I have also heard to sing Volare Modugno), better go below, where no music and youth choirs and the environment is.
The menu is less rich than the Kolkovna without compensation is less expensive with 7-10 euro eats plenty curato food, we ate all'aglio soup, mushroom soup, chicken with vegetables in Prague and mushrooms, beer, all at a cost of 18 euros in two.
Forgot to say that all the menus of the restaurants visited are on the web, just search with google or yahoo.
Since we are close to Wenceslas Square we do a tour, take a coffee, there is enough people.

May 14: at last the Castle (Prazsky hrad), detailed tour of the castle, the cathedral, Vicolo d'Oro, I liked a lot the Basilica of St. George, because I do not dwell on all the guides are widely available., Being the site known worldwide.
Lunch near the Charles Bridge.
In the afternoon, we go by tram to Vysehrad, we visit the church of St. Peter and Paul, the cemetery with the tomb of Dvorak, the Round sv Martin, the fortress.

May 15: detailed tour of the Jewish Quarter, the Pinkas Synagogue, Staronova, Klausova,
Visit the thirteenth century cloister of St. Agnes and the art gallery (which I recommend), where you can admire works of German artists and Ceki 1300 to 1600, and you can see the originals of works that are copied in the churches of Prague
Lunch at Italian restaurant environment (rather expensive), afternoon riverside Kampa island. and the old mill.
Dinner at Kolkovna

May 16: Morning excursion to specific sites, purchase of souvenirs, flannel square in Mala Strana, Stare Mesto Wenceslas Square and up per night ..

May 17: departure for Turin
