Prague, the medieval jewel of Europe, a city that is fascinating for its history, its neighborhoods seem to get back at the time of the Knights, along the boulevards that once saw the coronation ceremony of kings. Idyllic panoramic views from the citadel of the castle, with its narrow streets at the foot of the imposing Cathedral of St. Vitus. Malastrana, where traditional pubs, and even walk on the Charles Bridge until you reach the heart of the old city, where we await with impatience the tolling of the hour and the famous chimes.
From Saxony to Prague

The heart of the historic center of
Prague is the Old Town Square. The square has been beautifully restored and is a good starting point to begin your visit to
Prague. Are the Gothic spire of the Church of Týn that rise above the square, the statue of the reformer Jan Hus and, on the other side, the astronomical clock on Old Town Hall. Climb the tower of City Hall and enjoy a magnificent view of the square and beyond. Walk along the streets leaving the square, the big Parizska, which leads to the fascinating Týnská Ungelt, the ever busy Melantrichova which takes you to Wenceslas Square ... Celetná go down to the Powder Tower, one of the gates of the historic Old Town. Connected to the tower you will find the Municipal House, the most prestigious Art Nouveau building in
Prague. The Jewish Quarter is not far from Old Town Square. The Jewish Museum administers the following locations: the Maislova Synagogue, the Pinkas Synagogue, Spanish Synagogue, the old Jewish cemetery, the Synagogue and the Hall Klausova Ceremonies. Vecchianuova The synagogue is the oldest working synagogue in Central Europe.
It is advisable to cross the Charles Bridge during your first day because then you'll probably want to have time to do it again. The suggestion is to also pass through the night to enjoy the splendid view of the Castle lit. During the day you can climb the towers that are located on both sides of the bridge, in particular, we recommend the tower on the side of Old Town.
Castle Burg, Malastrana
The morning is a good time to visit the village of Castle (Hradcany) and then continue to the Little Quarter (Mala Strana). Take tram 22 or 23 to Malostranské námestí and get off at Pohorelec. You will end up well above the castle and from there you can go down to the Little Quarter.
Begin your visit with the Strahov Monastery. A pleasant route to follow, after a visit to Strahov, is what will bring down the entrance area of the castle along the Loretánská to Hradcanská námestí (Castle Square). Along the way you can stop at the shrine of Loreto. On the hill you will not find a single castle but a series of buildings, a church and a hundred years of history. Before crossing the entrance to the castle, head to your right to enjoy a beautiful view of
Prague from the top.
After exploring the area of the castle, the gardens or take the attraversatene Nerudova down to Malostranské námestí, the heart of the Little Quarter. Spend some time on Kampa island, which is right next to the Charles Bridge. Cross the park and enjoy the view of the bridge and river. Spend the rest of the day strolling through the picturesque streets of the Little Quarter. In the afternoon you can take a boat trip on the Vltava.
Karlstejn
In the morning excursion train to Karlstejn castle, the castle's most famous and visited the Czech Republic, placed in a fairytale landscape surrounded by forest. Built in Gothic style on the will of Charles IV, was to be the tangible symbol of its political and religious power.
