We have addressed the heart of Europe by car to arrive in Copenhagen and then to Stockholm.
The capital of Denmark is located on Sjaelland and we reached by ferry from Puttgarden in northern Germany: the crossing takes about 45 minutes and the ferry have to say that offers all the comfort and efficiency Nordic transpires in everything .
Arrived in Denmark we head north towards Copenhagen, through the Danish countryside, to be honest, it's a little boring: there are large and flat fields, a house here and there and the only hint of color, so if the we define the damage the windmills old (few, in fact) and generation (much more)
The journey takes several hours, then arrive in the city: the hotel is centrally located, close to Tivoli and we find it quite easily.
After we placed the bags, leave for a first taste of the city is a pleasant city, where traffic is more orderly, but it seems that we and where it's nice to walk, if it were not for the wind chill we remember that we are quite to the north.
Copenhagen is a nice city and two days where we stopped were required to visit it all: there are no tourist attractions, but is cmq bello run through the center, crossing the streets and stop to admire a glimpse here and there.
But the things that absolutely must be seen, in my opinion, are the mythical mermaid, which is located in an area a bit far from downtown but within walking distance and all that I had described as disappointing because very small: it has been because we are started with the idea that we are faced with a tiny statue, but I the end I thought it was cute.
It is situated on a cliff and has his face turned towards the sea and is worth photographs and perhaps to be photographed with his foot ... which we did not, as people lined up to be photographed was really so ... and we did pass a somewhat want.
One of the most characteristic is the sicurmante port of Nyhavn, with all the typical colored houses adjacent to houses and that fishermen have turned into places with outdoor tables and where the evening is a good nightlife .
We also spent half a day at Tivoli, the famous amusement park and we felt it was nice, good for children, but in fact not as a must: we say that if you want to relax and have fun, then it is certainly a milestone to be included in the tour of the city .
In our wanderings through the city we have visited, but only outside the royal palace with the guards outside the long black hat and blue and red uniform.
After the two days we have left the capital of Denmark to head to Sweden via a bridge connecting the two nations.
