Copenhagen is a fantastic city, its atmosphere can be felt even before arriving in the center .. when you start to see from afar his bizarre towers decorated and weeping down to touch the water channel.
Especially surprising the total absence of traffic .. that makes us forget that they have entered into a capital .. :)
The Danes have a way of life and look very healthy, prefer bikes to cars and love the environment, for example, meet for the city of strange machines, similar to that of large bancomat beginning I could not understand what, then, we go into a sandwich take away and we add in the 5 Danish kroner per person as deposit for the recycling "..
.. We remain puzzled for a moment .. before you realize that those machines that met in turn, are in fact deposits for plastic, ready to pay 5 crowns to anyone who, having swallowed the glasses were empty. Found a genius to educate people to respect the environment.

Another unique feature of Copenhagen is to have an amusement park in the city center, is strange to see the towers of the City Hall flanked by tracks of a roller coaster! but it is no wonder .. because the Tivoli Gardens have become a real historical monument of the city.
Extremely evocative at night, when hundreds of small lights illuminate and the color .. a nostalgic and timeless, a place absolutely unmissable!

The first impact that I had not denied Copenhagen is a city very relaxing! It moves very well walk away without recourse to public transport when you are tired you can follow the example of Danish sdariandosi somewhat 'in the beautiful parks and gardens which are found everywhere.

Before returning home, we decide to visit the town of Roskilde, 30 minutes by train from the capital.
This is a small town, made famous for the large red brick cathedral and the museum of craft Viking. In fact, the original copies are kept very few, outside the museum has been recreated a few copies, however, the visit is quite fast, although it gives its value.

The only real negative of the city is the cost of living ..
the prices are very high for us, you pay anywhere and just changed the Danish krone is "volatile" in 5 minutes. Sitting in a restaurant means to pull out at least 40-50 euros per person (for an excellent dinner .. but the price make it a po 'indigesta) .. preferable to preparing hot snack on the street or bakeries often have a good selection of sweet and salty.
At the end of the weekend budget expenditure frightens us .. (no waiting to get out off the green) ..
But the experience was wonderful and certainly in the future we piacerebbbe return again in Denmark.
