12. 01. 2000 Lahnajärventie (FINLAND)
"Are you Mark?" Here's the funny Mary! With its SAAB (here is full of these cars as it is a Swedish brand) we went to Helsinki. The first thing I noticed, along the roads that wind through real forests by tall trees and snow, was the long strip of asphalt and no snow so far ... I could not understand how they managed to keep clear of snow for miles well considering we have not crossed any snow. She joked a little bit after I reveal the secret. In Finland, the streets are heated! When falls the snow melts soon! Solved the mystery!
He took me around the old town. It will be a bit more for the weather (it snowed of course), will be that it was already dark but I have not seen any monument that struck me particularly. Only so many malls very cute and colorful, while the rest must invent something to avoid being outdoors in winter!
In the evening we go to his house. Very friendly and made of wood. Like those cartoons. I liked a lot and then his large family was very warm and kind to me.
